The Novy Undercover attracted a lot of attention during the Küchenmeile at area30. Novy and Cosentino are jointly launching the Novy Undercover, an induction cooktop that is fully integrated into the worktop.

It was crowded at the Novy booth, especially the Novy Undercover attracted a lot of attention. This is not surprising, because there is nothing more interesting than cooking on your worktop, without seeing an induction hob. This means you can cook directly on the Dekton kitchen worktop. With its sleek design and seamless integration, this solution is a progressive concept that redefines the modern kitchen.

As the name "Undercover" suggests, the induction cooktop is completely hidden under the worktop. Only a few subtle markings and LED lights indicate the presence of cooking zones, in addition to the minimalist centerpiece. Thanks to this almost invisible design, the kitchen becomes a versatile space that lends itself perfectly to different activities: from cooking and eating to working from home and social moments.

The Novy Undercover works exclusively with a 20 mm Dekton top, a strong, heat-resistant and scratch-resistant material from Cosentino. This collaboration offers a cooking surface that is easy to maintain and gives a calm look to the kitchen.

Personalize

Customers can choose from 40 different Dekton countertops and three colors for centerpoint finishes, providing more than 240 personalization options. Dekton products are carbon neutral, and the colors and textures are carefully selected from Cosentino's range with room for future expansion with new collections.

With the Novy controller, a combination of a control knob and a touchscreen, cooking becomes intuitive and user-friendly. No additional accessories are needed; you can place pots and pans directly on the top without losing induction power. Each cooking zone offers 10 adjustable settings, a Count Up/Down timer and preset settings for power and time. Flexible cooking zones make it easy to use larger pans, and the grill function is perfect for cast-iron cookware. Whether with three or four cooking zones, with a maximum output of 3,700W per zone, the Undercover meets any cooking need.

Focus on safety

A subtle red LED warns of residual heat, a signal that can optionally also be projected on the floor for added safety. Once the residual heat is gone, the signal automatically turns off, and the worktop can be used again for other activities. Novy offers a 5-year warranty on the induction system, while the Dekton plate retains a 25-year warranty, confirming the product's durability and reliability.

With the launch of the Undercover, Novy sets a new benchmark in kitchen design and introduces a technological marvel that transforms the modern kitchen. This also shows once again that Novy knows how to maintain its specialty. There are already some other companies that have tried but failed to follow through.
