Thoughtful design, outstanding technology, and a deep-rooted passion for food. These are the three pillars around which Italian manufacturer Bertazzoni develops its kitchen appliances. What we all know today, namely that the kitchen is the heart of family life, has been preached at Bertazzoni for six generations. And you can feel that in every appliance they make.
Cookers. That's what we know Bertazzoni best for. But the Italian manufacturer is at home in all markets, and you can take that literally. From cookers to extractor hoods, from dishwashers to refrigerators. And in this latter segment, Bertazzoni is going big today, and you can take that literally too. After all, this is a striking expansion of the refrigerator and freezer range, with the large refrigerators standing out. “A response to the growing demand for large appliances in all kinds of designs,” says Bertazzoni's home base in Guastalla in the Italian region of Reggio Emilia.
As mentioned, Bertazzoni's range of refrigerators and freezers has expanded significantly, both in terms of size and number of models. The 212 cm tall models, with the refrigerator compartment at the top and the freezer compartment at the bottom, are available as French Door models in widths of 75 or 90 cm. “Take the 75 cm built-in refrigerator with freezer compartment, for example,” says Bertazzoni. “In terms of capacity, it is really spacious with 323 liters for the refrigerator and 126 liters for the freezer. The refrigerator compartment has three shelves, two of which are height-adjustable. With the available Fresco drawer, which can be operated separately digitally, there is a zone where the temperature can be set very accurately between -1°C and +5°C. This is very interesting because this drawer preserves the nutrients, flavors, and freshness of whatever is stored in it for longer. The Total No Frost offers an automatic defrost function for both evaporators. Also nice: the presence of an automatic ice cube maker in the freezer compartment and an internal water dispenser in the refrigerator compartment. The LED lighting used ensures that the entire interior is clearly illuminated.”
When you say Italy, you also say passion for design and finish. This also applies to these newcomers in Bertazzoni's range of refrigerators and freezers. “All models are indeed finished to perfection, taking into account both kitchen designers and the people who use the refrigerator on a daily basis,” says Bertazzoni. “The doors can be mounted to open either left or right, and each refrigerator can be supplied with a set of handles that perfectly match the other Bertazzoni built-in appliances or the chosen stove.
