Franke Group acquires Nokite, a leading manufacturer of high-quality kitchen faucet solutions and stainless steel accessories

Franke Group has acquired Nokite EcoSmart Water Heating Systems (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. a leading Chinese manufacturer of stainless steel kitchen faucets and accessories. As part of the Franke Home Solutions division, the company's innovative strength and technical expertise in faucets will contribute to Franke's focus on smart kitchen solutions and the growing water treatment market. This will strengthen Franke's global market position and product offering. In addition, regulations aimed at eliminating lead will accelerate growth in the stainless steel faucets segment, making Nokite's expertise particularly valuable. 

The Franke Group, based in Aarburg, Switzerland, has acquired 100% of the shares in Nokite EcoSmart Water Heating Systems (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. from the KWC Group. This group is largely owned by funds managed by Equistone Partners Europe. Nokite is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality stainless steel kitchen faucet solutions in China, with a global customer base. Known for its excellent production quality and innovative solutions, Nokite has been in business for more than 20 years and was the first manufacturer of stainless steel faucets in China. The company has about 150 employees. Financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed. 

Nokite becomes part of Franke Home Solutions, a division of the Franke Group and a global leader in smart systems and solutions for private kitchens. 

The integration of Nokite into the Franke Group is an important step in strengthening Franke Home Solutions' presence and focus on the global market for kitchen faucet solutions. Nokite's expertise in stainless steel faucets aligns perfectly with the high-quality positioning of the Franke brand. In addition, regulations aimed at eliminating lead are expected to lead to rapid growth in the stainless steel faucet segment, making Nokite's specific know-how and experience particularly valuable. In turn, Franke's continued growth will ensure full utilization of Nokite's production facilities and significantly increase added value.
