Seeing is believing at Dutch manufacturer of induction stoves

Italian inspiration, German reliability, Dutch craftsmanship

The phrase "seeing is believing," you most likely know. The editors of Keukenbouw Magazine have recently been speaking regularly with entrepreneurs Han and Marc ter Braak of Elementi di Cucina. So we saw with our own eyes that this company from Enschede has produced a luxury induction stove with integrated extractor. Built based on Italian inspiration, German reliability, but with Dutch craftsmanship: almost all products were developed and produced in our own country.

The stove market has been evolving considerably for several years. It first began with the emergence of induction stoves, and later came integrated extraction. Elementi di Cucina was the first supplier with a stove with internal extraction. They don't seem to have given away that "lead" since. Han ter Braak: "We are growing fast. Very fast and that while the industry is struggling a bit." Han does have an idea why. "People are increasingly making their homes as sustainable as possible. Most start by installing solar panels, which are then followed by taking the central heating off the gas. And then there comes a time when the old gas stove may also be replaced with an induction stove. In fact, we see that our replacement market is doing well."

Reliable and quality

Of course, it is more than just that, why the company is so successful. Elementi di Cucina offers excellent quality. "Made in Holland" you could say with a wink, because all the stove products are made in the Netherlands. Han: "And we work as green and sustainable as possible. This is to meet the increasing demand for circular entrepreneurship." By this, the Enschede-based entrepreneur refers not only to limiting transport movements because these take place mainly in the Netherlands, but also to using more sustainable materials. Han: "For example, we use Magnelis steel that not only has lower CO2 in the process, but also has a self-healing property. Cut edges and any damage repair themselves, so no protective coating is needed and it doesn't rust through. One of the USPs with our stoves."

Large economical oven

Elementi di Cucina also knows how to overcome the challenges that a large oven normally presents. "Comments like 'takes a long time to heat up, doesn't apply with our ovens,'" says Han. "What is unique, in fact, is the oven's super fast warm-up time: in 5-6 minutes to a temperature of 180 degrees. This is because the stove is excellently insulated and loses virtually no heat." Also, Elementi di Cucina uses an inline motor that makes a good contribution to noise reduction, something that is always a desire of consumers. Add to that the fact that the stove is handmade, and it is abundantly clear that Elementi di Cucina stoves are made by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

Lovers offer quality

The Ter Braak brothers are true lovers of stoves and this is reflected in every detail of their stoves. Han: "Visitors who come in here leave more enthusiastic than they had expected beforehand. This also applies to the entrepreneurs who initially reacted somewhat cautiously. We currently have 40 dealers and this number seems to be growing." Han: "We are convinced that we have a perfectly working induction stove that is innovative and exudes the wow effect. The success is partly due to the fact that we have been able to avoid a 3-phase connection." In fact, Elementi di Cucina's NuovaCucina stoves can be connected to only two groups and this does not compromise normal cooking convenience.

Proudly developed and produced

The Ter Braak brothers believe that true quality comes from local expertise and dedication. "Every product in our range is proudly developed and produced in the Netherlands. This enables us not only to ensure the quality of every detail, but also to invest in the local economy and promote sustainability," says Han. "If you choose Elementi di Cucina, you choose a brand that stands for craftsmanship, innovation and the Dutch heritage of quality." We can write that, but seeing is believing!
