Saving space and flexibility organizing the "pottekes cupboard"
A situation recognizable to many today: chaos in the drawer of storage boxes and microwave bowls.

Space-saving and flexible organization of the "potty closet"

The only slide that causes frustration is the pottekes box. Van Opstal markets a particularly handy accessory from Kesseböhmer for this. Goodbye chaos, welcome SpaceFlexx.

No matter how you store the various brands, sizes and shapes of storage boxes and microwave jars, keeping it orderly is a challenge. German research showed that 98 percent of the German population has so-called tupperware jars in their homes. More than 70 percent of them are not satisfied with the way they are stored. Time for a solution, then. German company Kesseböhmer also thought so. The manufacturer came to the market with the SpaceFlexx, a flexible and space-saving way to divide and organize drawers in an intuitive, quick and easy way.

Importer of furniture fittings and accessories Van Opstal markets Kesseböhmer's products in Benelux. Managing director Jacques Werbrouck explains the need for the SpaceFlexx: "The problem is recognizable to everyone. It is a challenge to store all kinds of jars in a clear and orderly way. The shapes and sizes vary, sometimes a jar falls out of the cabinet, other times it gets stuck and the drawer can't close properly. In short: it's all chaos. That's done with the SpaceFlexx, an easy and quick-to-assemble system. Without tools."

A particularly intuitive and flexible system with patented Nesttex textiles.

High quality textiles

What makes SpaceFlexx unique is the patented elastic fabric Nesttex. It is a high-quality fabric that nestles securely and flexibly around the jars. It eliminates the chance of making a mess, and the jars can no longer get stuck or fall out of the drawer, either. "Above all, you have a good overview and can see at a glance where the jar is that you need," says Jacques. "And no discipline is required at all. You just put the jar in the drawer and the Nesttex takes care of it. The whole system is odorless and repels moisture. Is the Nesttex dirty anyway? Then simply put it in the washing machine for a while. It's a high-quality German-made product and will last a lifetime." SpaceFlexx fits into a drawer with minimum interior dimensions of 472 millimeters wide, 472 millimeters deep and 130 millimeters high. When mounting, you can decide whether to mount it at a width of 472 or 520 millimeters. "This difference in width has to do with the shape of the inside of the drawer sidewall," says Jacques Werbrouck. "There are drawer sidewalls that are rounded and there are drawer sidewalls that are sleek and straight. You can adjust the width of the Spaceflexx accordingly. The minimum depth of the inside of the drawer should be 472 millimeters. A standard depth for a fifty-centimeter drawer."

The interior dimensions of the drawer correspond to a drawer built into a standard cabinet width sixty centimeters. In wider drawers, in addition to SpaceFlexx, you have plenty of free space to stack or store other items. "SpaceFlexx is particularly useful in the kitchen, but it has already proved its worth in other rooms and storage applications such as the bathroom, dressing room or playroom," concludes Jacques Werbrouck.
