Häfele Introduces Utensio: Smart Storage Solutions for the Kitchen

Häfele introduces Utensio, a new line of storage solutions designed to make smarter use of available kitchen cabinet space. The line combines functionality and design with practical installation and offers interior designers solutions for functionally organizing even hard-to-reach or often-unused spaces.

Every centimeter counts in the kitchen. However, there are still many areas in kitchen cabinets that aren’t used to their full potential in practice. With Utensio, Häfele addresses this with a variety of convenient storage solutions. “At the same time, by bringing together the kitchen storage solutions under the Utensio umbrella brand, the product line has become much easier for customers to navigate,” says Miguel Preuter, product manager at Häfele.

Using Space More Wisely

One of the categories in the new product line is Utensio ST (Storage). This line consists of a completely new range of pull-out units and is designed to provide a clear layout and easy access to the contents. Here’s a small selection from the new collection:

• Corner cabinets – at the Utensio Slide Corner The swivel shelf is mounted on a cabinet shelf and pulled forward. This makes this solution suitable for both new and existing corner cabinets. A variation on this is the Utensio Glide Corner, in which the swivel platform is mounted inside the cabinet. In the Utensio Inline Corner The pull-out elements at the top and bottom extend completely from the corner straight forward. With the Utensio Fold Corner The front shelves slide all the way out of the cabinet, while the back shelves slide forward.

• Wall Cabinets – With the EasyDown Upper Cabinet Lift The contents of the upper cabinet slide forward and down. This makes it easier to reach the contents of a tall (upper) cabinet.
• Tall cabinets – The Pantry High pulls the contents of the cabinet straight forward. At the Deluxe Pantry Both the storage compartments on the door side and the contents of the cabinet behind them slide out, making the contents easily accessible.
• Base Cabinets – For base cabinets, the product line includes various pull-out units and drawers, available in a range of cabinet widths.

Eand style and design options

In addition to functionality, design also plays a role in Utensio ST. The shelves are available in all-anthracite metal or in anthracite combined with an oak-look finish or gray glass.

Within the category Utensio WB (Waste Bins/Trash Cans) Häfele brings together existing and new waste separation solutions: attractively priced and easy to install.

Last year, Häfele introduced the Utensio WB20, a handy system with adjustable floor clamp that can be placed in a drawer without tools. New: the Utensio WB10, which you attach to the side wall of the cabinet and which slides forward when you open the door. Both systems are suitable for both new and existing kitchens.
