Looking for inspiration at Küchenmeile—and preferably from Dutch companies? Then Art of Kitchens is a great place to visit. Probewa, together with Inventum, Quooker, Samsung, Bosch, Siemens, NEFF, and BYJERR, is showcasing a wide range of innovations there.
Probewa is showcasing five completely new kitchen displays, four of which are part of the SmartCollection. Within this collection, the bio-based Greenside line is being expanded with new colors, wood-framed fronts, and aluminum glass frames in various trendy colors. A complete bio-based pantry is also part of the display. The standout at the Italian brand Composit is Materya. This model, which was showcased earlier this year at EuroCucina, plays with form, proportions, and the perception of materials.
With Bosch, Siemens, and NEFF, BSH is well represented. Bosch is showcasing a new steam drawer that, when paired with a Series 6 oven featuring Air Fry, combines multiple cooking options in a compact setup. Another standout is the built-in robot vacuum with a mopping function. After cleaning, it retracts into a self-cleaning dock in the baseboard.
Among other things, Siemens is demonstrating an oven with a camera and AI that can recognize dishes, Home Connect, and smart flexInduction. According to Siemens, the EX807NX68E cooktop with integrated range hood has been named ‘Best in Test’ by the Consumentenbond nine times in a row and is now also available in a matte finish. Siemens is also presenting an intelligent steam drawer.
NEFF announces a new development in the field of range hood systems. The exact details will be revealed during Art of Kitchens. The brand will also showcase matte black cooktops.
Samsung demonstrates how the SmartThings platform can connect various devices in the kitchen. Users can control and monitor appliances through the app. For example, you can preheat the oven while you’re still on your way home. Artificial intelligence can also recognize usage patterns and have devices adapt accordingly. SmartThings also focuses on providing insight into energy consumption. Samsung’s goal is to use smart technology primarily to make everyday tasks simpler and more efficient.
In Kirchlengern, Inventum is showcasing, among other things, a new line of ovens, dishwashers, and cooktops. One of the highlights is the IKA8035MAT, the first model in a new series of induction cooktops with matte glass. The 80-centimeter-wide cooktop features four induction zones and combines cooking with an integrated range hood. A wine climate cabinet will also be featured in the presentation. With these displays, Inventum is showcasing developments across various product groups at Art of Kitchens.
Quooker showcases its extensive collection of faucets in various models and finishes. The Quooker CUBE is also in the spotlight. In addition to 100 °C boiling, hot, and cold water, it allows users to draw chilled and sparkling water directly from the same faucet. The CUBE is placed next to the boiling water reservoir. According to Quooker, the system replaces an average of about 330 plastic bottles per household per year.
BYJERR is using the Küchenmeile to officially launch Wing Glass. The new lighting fixture combines a floating panel of smoked glass with a central lighting element. The integrated LED lighting provides warm white light at 2700K and Up & Down Light and can be dimmed using Gesture Control. Wing Glass is available in multiple lengths and, like Wing Classic, can be customized with various accessories.
Art of Kitchens thus brings together a wide range of developments in one location. Equally important is its role as a meeting place. Dutch representatives of the participating brands will be on hand to update visitors and explain the latest innovations. With excellent dining facilities, there will also be plenty of opportunity to catch up with suppliers and industry peers during the Küchenmeile.
