As a full-service provider of home appliances, with a wide range of products for the kitchen, Inventum always has something new to share. Especially in the run-up to one of the world’s largest kitchen trade shows, the Küchenmeile in and around Löhne, the innovation train is racing ahead at full speed. And both consumers and kitchen specialists continue to reap the benefits.
A major addition to the kitchen lineup is a new generation of frosted glass. The first model to feature this is the IKA8035MAT, an 80-cm-wide induction cooktop with an integrated A++ range hood. The matte surface gives the appliance a contemporary and luxurious look, along with practical benefits for the user: it’s less prone to scratches and fingerprints. Signs of wear are also less visible. This keeps the cooktop looking great longer and makes it easy to clean. The IKA8035MAT features four powerful cooking zones with a boost function and a bridge function that allows zones to be combined for larger pans or a grill plate. The IKA8035MAT is already available, as is the glossy version, the IKA8035.
In addition to innovations in cooktops, Inventum is taking steps to make its line of dishwashers more sustainable. Two fully integrated models, the IVW6025A and the IVW6050A, have been updated. As a result, they now have higher energy efficiency ratings: the IVW6025A has improved from energy efficiency class C to B, and the IVW6050A from C to A. The noise level of the IVW6050A has also been reduced to just 42 dB. “This makes them ideal for open-concept kitchens,” adds Elyse van Rossum of Inventum. “This more luxurious model also features practical interior lighting and a bright LED indicator on the floor. Also important: these updated dishwashers are being introduced to the market at the same price as their predecessors, including the standard five-year Inventum warranty with no registration required.”
The Dutch Consumers’ Association has named the Inventum AKB9015ZWA built-in range hood (90 cm) a “Best Buy” in the exhaust-vented category. This is a wonderful external recognition of Inventum’s ongoing commitment to quality. Among other things, the association praises the excellent extraction capacity, low energy consumption, and competitive pricing. The range hood delivers a powerful airflow of 700 m³/h at a maximum noise level of 62 dB. The durable, brushless BLDC motor has a long service life and requires less maintenance. The range hood scores very well with an A++ energy rating and an annual energy consumption of just 25 kWh.
Inventum will, of course, be on display at the Küchenmeile. Just like in previous years, you’ll find Inventum at Art of Kitchens, the place to be for Dutch visitors. “Be sure to stop by,” Van Rossum invites. The models mentioned earlier will definitely be on display. “But there’s more,” Van Rossum concludes. “We’re currently putting the finishing touches on a great expansion of our oven lineup with an entirely new oven line. It’s definitely worth a visit. We’ll be there for you from September 20 through 23, at our familiar location in Kirchlengern.”
