There’s plenty of news at Falmec Benelux. The company is expanding its operations, strengthening its partnerships with retailers, and introducing a striking line of induction cooktops with integrated range hoods. The Icon, Eclipse, and Brera Slim models will be available in champagne and gray starting in late October. With these models, Falmec is bringing more color and design freedom to the countertop.
The black induction cooktop has been the standard in kitchens for years. Eddy van Tongeren, General Manager of Falmec Benelux, knows this as well. “The cooktop is increasingly being chosen as part of the overall kitchen design, and a large black surface doesn’t always complement countertops in light, natural, or warm tones. With Ultra Matt glass-ceramic in champagne and gray, we now offer kitchen designers an alternative to black. As a result, the cooktop can blend more subtly into the countertop or, conversely, be deliberately coordinated with other materials and accents in the kitchen.”

The new champagne and gray finishes will be available for the Icon, Eclipse, and Brera Slim models starting in late October. “Each model combines cooking and venting into a single countertop solution, but the design and application differ,” Van Tongeren explains. “For example, Icon features a central exhaust grille made of anodized aluminum that is available in various finishes, including anthracite, gold, and copper, making it possible to perfectly match the cooktop to the faucet, handles, lighting, or other metal details. Icon also offers various features to make cooking more comfortable. Auto Mode automatically adjusts the ventilation to the cooking activity, while Flex Surface allows different cooking zones to be connected, creating space for larger pans or elongated cookware. The dual bridge function further expands the possibilities. Clean & Dry helps remove residual odors and dry the filters.”
The Eclipse features a sleek, flat countertop. The range hood is fully integrated into the surface of the cooktop. When the system is not in use, the central zone remains closed. As soon as the range hood is turned on, the motorized vent opens automatically. Eclipse also features Automode, Flex Surface, a dual bridge function, and Clean & Dry. Van Tongeren: “Brera Slim was developed for kitchens where compact built-in design and usable cabinet space are important.” The motor is integrated into the housing, leaving more space beneath the cooktop. The vent is located at the rear so that the cooking surface remains unobstructed and uncluttered.

Falmec is showcasing its new colored cooktops during Küchenmeile at the new Falmec showroom in the Kitchen Center in Löhne. After twelve years at area30, Falmec has opted for a permanent showroom in the region. With an area of approximately 170 square meters, it is considerably larger than the previous exhibition space. In addition, the showroom will remain open year-round to trade visitors and will be used for product presentations, training sessions, and workshops. “The permanent showroom offers more continuity than the temporary trade show booth and is centrally located for our customers in northern and western Germany,” said Van Tongeren.
