Kitchen Fair 2026: A Contemporary Look at New Usability Concepts with Hettich

The modern kitchen is a hub of activity, embodying everything that defines a personalized living space. To ensure that the kitchen is not just a place for cooking, but also for living and working, solutions are needed that offer flexible usage options. With its intelligent hardware technology, Hettich lays the foundation for the kitchen’s evolution into a versatile living space. Various kitchen manufacturers will showcase just how diverse and customized these solutions can be at Küchenmeile 2026.

Hettich views hardware technology as much more than just functionality: it is an integral part of holistic living spaces. Movement, design, ease of use, and functionality come together to create a positive user experience. Various kitchen manufacturers have drawn on this to develop exciting design and spatial concepts that reinterpret movement in new ways, make storage spaces user-friendly and accessible, and enable flexible use of furniture. At Küchenmeile 2026, the kitchen industry can look forward to attractive solutions that increasingly transform the kitchen into a multifunctional space. This can create new incentives for kitchen customers to make a purchase.

Dynamics for Integrated Living

New ways of using spaces and movement patterns are increasingly blurring the lines between the kitchen, living area, and workspace. The flagship of this transformation is Hettich’s cutting-edge innovation, FurnSpin. The multi-award-winning swivel-and-rotate system makes furniture design adaptable and unlocks storage space in an entirely new way. Manufacturers such as Beeck, Burgbad, Eggersmann, Nobilia, Rotpunkt, and SieMatic have already incorporated high-quality solutions featuring the swivel-and-rotate system into their current product lines. Rotpunkt, for example, will showcase FurnSpin in an application for tall cabinets. The system’s range of applications extends from swiveling wall cabinets and elegant display cases with lighting to floor-to-ceiling furniture elements. At the same time, FurnSpin demonstrates what makes Hettich’s innovative hardware technology so special: dynamism, comfort, and ease of use. The technology remains virtually invisible—the systems blend seamlessly with the materials and furniture design. This is a key part of what makes these solutions so compelling.

A New Push for Folding Door Solutions

With WingLine L, Hettich offers a folding door system that also impresses with its dynamic movement—the panorama effect. Ballerina presents a space-saving wall cabinet featuring WingLine L and a new convenience unit, centered around the theme ‘Storage planning for an organized daily life in the kitchen.’ A light touch on the cabinet front is all it takes for the cabinet to open automatically, followed by soft-close functionality as it shuts. The benefits: effortless opening and quick access to the cabinet’s contents. WingLine L can be seen in other exciting applications at the Küchenmeile, including at Schüller and Häcker.

In its new product line, Pronorm is now placing even greater emphasis on design aspects. Hettich’s ExeoTech drawer system, recently honored with the Red Dot Award—featuring a slim 11 mm frame and flawless, precise edges—defines an unmistakable design language for the kitchen manufacturer. With proTech pure, proTech glassCase, and proTech purMaxi, Pronorm is introducing various versions of the minimalist drawer system.
