Whirlpool is focusing on greater ease of use in the kitchen through various innovations. The G45 ovens combine a variety of cooking options with smart technology, the MaxiSpace built-in dishwasher offers extra loading capacity, and with MattProtect, Whirlpool is introducing a new matte surface technology for induction cooktops.
The Whirlpool G45 ovens, including the WCW7 and WCT7 models, combine traditional oven functions with modern technologies. The 6th Sense technology automatically selects the ideal temperature, cooking time, and energy setting based on the dish. Dozens of automatic programs are available for this purpose.
The ovens offer various combination functions, including convection, steam, and microwave. With Crisp and CrispFry, you can also achieve crispy results with little to no oil. Cleaning has also been taken into account. Steam or hydrolysis systems loosen grease and dirt, making it easy to clean the oven.
The MaxiSpace built-in dishwasher is all about capacity and flexibility. The extra-spacious interior offers up to 10 percent more loading capacity. This makes it easier to fit items such as large plates up to 32 cm into the dishwasher.
The SpaceClean third rack is Whirlpool’s largest third rack and can accommodate glasses, mugs, and bowls. Integrated water jets ensure that dishes on this top rack are also cleaned. Meanwhile, 6th Sense detects the level of dirt and the load and adjusts the program accordingly. PowerClean Pro uses powerful water jets in the lower rack for intensive cleaning without pre-rinsing. After the cycle is complete, NaturalDry automatically opens the door to let the dishes dry naturally.
With MattProtect, Whirlpool is also placing a strong emphasis on the appearance of kitchen appliances. The new WB S2560 NE BM and WL S3777 NE BM induction cooktops feature a matte glass surface technology.
According to Whirlpool, MattProtect results in three times fewer visible scratches, up to three times better cleaning performance, and more than three times the resistance to chipping compared to standard ceramic glass. The brand cites tests conducted by TÜV Rheinland under controlled laboratory conditions, in which matte and glossy ceramic glass were compared. The matte finish also gives the cooktop a contemporary look.
Both cooktops feature FlexiCook, which allows adjacent induction zones to be combined into a single cooking surface. This provides space for items such as long baking pans, fish kettles, and large baking dishes. Slider controls make it possible to adjust the power with a single smooth motion.
With its G45 ovens, MaxiSpace, and MattProtect, Whirlpool combines technology, flexibility, ease of use, and design across various elements of the kitchen.
