Waste management is often still given insufficient attention during the design process for a new kitchen. Yet we all agree that a tidy kitchen truly brings a sense of calm. Every detail in the kitchen contributes to the overall experience. A trash can left lying around immediately disrupts any interior design. Organizing the Drawer

The flexible layout of an integrated trash drawer offers even more practical benefits. Want to combine the drawer with storage space for cleaning supplies? That’s perfectly possible. “The systems are compatible with Blum’s LEGRABOX and TANDEMBOX and can be expanded with handy accessories,” adds Coomans. “When combined with SERVO-DRIVE, Blum’s electronic opening assist, such an integrated trash drawer can also be opened hands-free—which is especially convenient when needed and extra hygienic.”

Efficiency as a Whole

Van Hoecke developed the ORGALUX basic packages: pre-assembled, functional all-in-one solutions. This offers advantages both during installation and when used by the customer. There are ten basic packages; the first nine focus on cutlery, kitchen utensils, and storage, while the tenth is designed entirely around waste management and cleanup. “The combination of various trash cans and a bottle rack results in a logical and well-organized layout, tailored to daily use in the kitchen,” explains Coomans. “The package thus responds to the growing demand for practical and immediately applicable solutions in the custom-made segment.”

Responding to Compact Living Arrangements

People who live in smaller homes and/or have smaller kitchens naturally need a waste management solution that takes up less space.
