New Orgalux Starter Kits at Van Hoecke

Van Hoecke aims to put a stop to this with the introduction of updated basic packages for drawer organization and waste management.

Van Hoecke is introducing updated basic packages for cutlery and utensil drawers and is supplementing these with a new Basic Waste Package for the sink area. Whereas accessories were often added as an afterthought in the past, the focus is now shifting more and more toward integrated solutions that simplify kitchen work. The goal of Van Hoecke’s basic packages is therefore clear: the company from Sint-Niklaas (Belgium) wants to help interior designers and custom furniture specialists work more efficiently while offering customers a logically organized kitchen from day one.

Uniformity in a Single Movement

The Orgalux Basic Package was developed with uniformity as its guiding principle. After all, the package features a cutlery and utensil layout that logically and uniformly organizes multiple drawers at once, thereby combining time savings in the design process with ease and clarity in daily use. A major advantage of the Orgalux Basic Package is its modularity. With targeted add-ons—such as a spice rack, knife block, or foil cutter—it is possible to tailor the layout precisely to the user’s needs without straying from the basic concept. Furthermore, the Orgalux Basic Package is compatible with LEGRABOX and TA’OR BOX, ensuring seamless integration into existing designs.

Full-featured workspace

The approach is changing under the sink as well, and stricter sorting regulations and a growing focus on sustainability are key factors in this shift. Waste management is thus becoming an essential part of kitchen design. Van Hoecke is responding to this trend with the new Basic Waste Package, a ready-to-use solution consisting of two 14-liter bins, one 21-liter bin, and an integrated bottle rack for storing cleaning products. A notable addition is the Servo Drive uno, a feature that can really make a difference in everyday use. With Servo Drive uno, you can automatically open the waste drawer with a light push. This is very convenient when you need to open the drawer but have your hands full.

The basic packages offer a clear advantage for interior builders and cabinetmakers. Karen Coomans of Van Hoecke summarizes: “Ordering is very simple because each package has a single item number. The included installation guide reduces assembly time on-site, as it explains in great detail how end users can make (minor) adjustments themselves.
