Liebherr Hausgeräte GmbH acquires Buram Electro B.V.

The company Buram Electro B.V., founded in 1955, will become part of the German Liebherr Hausgeräte GmbH with whom it has worked for 67 years, subject to the approval of the Authority Consumer and Market (ACM). The acquisition will further intensify the partnership with the aim of further increasing customer satisfaction and brand value.

Over 65 years of partnership

In 1955 Liebherr began series production of household refrigeration and freezer equipment and today ranks among one of the leading European manufacturers. In the same year, Liebherr Nederland N.V. was founded, which would later become Buram Electro B.V. Liebherr and Buram have been partners for no less than 67 years: Liebherr as a manufacturer of high-quality cooling and freezing appliances and Buram as a sales, marketing and service organization and expert on the Dutch market for cooling and freezing appliances.

Continuity guaranteed

All employees of Buram Electro B.V. will continue their work. The premises in Uithoorn and the structure will be retained, as Liebherr wishes to continue the successful path and achievements of the two partners.

This also means that this change will not affect both trading partners and Liebherr customers. They will receive the same high-quality support as in the past.

The acquisition follows a strategic decision by Liebherr aimed at further strengthening the brand and securing long-term value creation for all stakeholders in the Dutch market.
