You could already read in a previous edition of Keukenbouw that, in addition to cooker hoods and cooktops, Novy has now also added lighting to its portfolio. Visitors to Area30 were able to see for themselves that Novy is particularly proud of this acquisition. Even before entering the stand, the various lighting solutions caught their eye.
How important good lighting is in the kitchen, we no longer need to explain to anyone. After all, the kitchen has become the most important and busiest room in the home and then those higher demands come naturally. Functional light to perform tasks properly and ambient light for a cozy atmosphere while eating and after are a must. "The interest in lighting also increased at Novy," confirms Sander van 't Hoen of Novy. "Light is one of the most important ingredients in the kitchen, so it should always be right."
Designers Matthijs Jansen and Jorg De Bont add some important ingredients to their stylish light objects. For example, the operation is unique because it is done through hand gestures, gesture control in other words. Dry or wet hands, dirty or clean, simply moving your hand is enough to turn the light on or off. In addition, the design is consistently sleek and recognizable style elements provide unity in kitchen lighting. "And not forgetting the connection with extractor and cooktop, a very important asset for Novy," adds Van 't Hoen.
So today Novy's lighting collection consists of three fixtures. The Novy Pendant is a stylish designer pendant fixture available in lengths from 90 to 300cm. The simple hand movement discussed above suffices to dim or amplify the light. The same is true of the sleekly designed Novy Wall which, as the name suggests, mounts to the wall. "Ideal for upper cabinets or for those who want to add designer wall lighting to the kitchen," said Van 't Hoen. "In turn, Novy Shelf, with its minimalist design, forms a beautiful silhouette on the wall. Novy Shelf is simultaneously a lighting fixture that shines light on the worktop and a shelf where you can give extra accessories a place. With a simple gesture at the top of Novy Shelf, you change the functional lighting on the worktop to mood lighting."

consists of a sturdy metal frame construction and a powerful but whisper quiet Novy Pureline exhaust system. Shelves fit inside the frame, regardless of style, color or material. Ideal for extending the design of the kitchen cabinets to the extractor. You decide how many frames you want, with heights of 70 or 80cm. These can integrate a shelf as wide as 75cm. And Pureline Frame also features integrated lighting. This is dimmable and can be tuned to the included LEDs at the bottom of the frames. Pureline Frame, like all other Pureline models, operates via powerful edge extraction. Recirculation is integrated as standard. A guarantee, therefore, of an atmospheric and quality cooking experience."
