And with the Intero Pendant, the family is expanding even further.
The launch of the Intero Pendant is a logical step in Hera’s lighting story. The Intero system is being expanded to include decorative and functional pendant lighting. “The fixture is designed as a natural complement above kitchen islands and dining tables,” explains Michael Hoekstra of Hera. “The sleek black design and the uniform light line without visible light sources create a minimalist and high-quality look. Intero Pendant thus serves as both a light source—providing both uplight and downlight—and a visual focal point. Furthermore, the fixture is easily adjustable in height. A self-locking mechanism ensures stability. This makes the lighting perfectly adaptable to various applications and spaces.”
The entire Intero line—including the new Intero Pendant—exudes flexibility. The light color is continuously adjustable from extra warm white (2700K) to cool white (5000K). Users can easily switch between ambiance (a cozy setting during meals) and functionality (bright light while cooking for optimal visibility). The Intero Pendant is controlled via an integrated infrared switch or, depending on the model, via a wireless remote control compatible with the Intero Smart System.
Hera has set high sustainability standards for the entire Intero line, so the new Pendant also meets these self-imposed standards. With a lifespan of up to 50,000 operating hours, high color rendering (CRI > 90), and highly efficient LED performance, the Intero Pendant is a reliable solution. “It’s particularly well-suited for intensive use in the kitchen,” concludes Hoekstra. “The addition of the Intero Pendant makes it possible to develop a comprehensive solution with the Intero product line in which functional and decorative lighting work together.”
