The German, international company berbel specializes in cooking extractors and introduces the Downline Infinity. With a width of 900 mm and a depth of no less than 550 mm, this generous induction cooktop with integrated extractor is ideal for kitchen islands. Its unique, generous dimensions and new, spacious surface layout allow all four cooking zones of the induction cooktop to be used simultaneously. Even frying pans won't get in each other's way. The left side of the cooktop has two hefty square coils with bridge function. On the right side are two double round coils with a special feature: the intelligent zones. These zones recognize the size of the cookware and adjust accordingly. This saves energy with small pans. In addition, moving the pans on the cooktop is extremely smooth and quiet due to a durable, sound-absorbing surface. Especially for design-conscious hobby cooks, all the important basic functions of this induction cooktop with integrated extractor fan can be optionally operated using five buttons on the front of the base cabinet. With the new Downline Infinity, cooking becomes a true experience.

With the Downline Infinity, all important functions can be operated directly and intuitively. This makes cooking very easy. Technology enthusiasts can delve even deeper and define individual settings via the control submenus. The function possibilities of the induction cooktop are virtually endless. However, to ensure that cooking remains clear, the display only shows what is currently happening. Both the induction cooktop and the extractor unit are operated via an elegant display illuminated in white and orange with touch controls and slide function. All elements are individually and very easy to operate.
With the Downline Infinity, cooking becomes an experience. All the important basic functions of this induction cooktop with integrated extractor can be optionally operated with five robust knobs on the front of the base cabinet, finished in stainless steel or matte black. These knobs are the perfect controls for design-conscious hobby cooks who want to combine optimal function selection with the tactile material feel and dynamics of a rotary knob. The robust and heavy-duty rotary knobs create intuitive operation through the high-quality and tactile click function when switching between the modes as well as through the elegant LED lighting. Depending on the situation, the knobs light up in a cool-white or orange-red color and visually support cooking by changing color and brightness. The special highlight is that all settings are shown on the digital display
to be read and not, as usual, from the front of the control knob. With berbel, the cooking action always remains in view directly on the cooktop, eliminating the need to bend down to read the setting. Thanks to this simple, intuitive operation, cooking remains a fluid process.
The pleasure in cooking quickly disappears when the sound of the exhaust system disturbs other people. This often happens when the kitchen and living room are open and the family is watching television, listening to music or otherwise relaxing. Noise from sliding pans has also been considered. The Downline Infinity has a sound-absorbing coating and printing for cooktops: CERAN HIGHTRANS® eco from SCHOTT. This environmentally friendly glass, manufactured without toxic additives, is printed with special, lead-free inks that reduce the scratching noise of cookware. In addition, CERAN® Still Colors reduce friction on the surface of the cooktop. Pans and frying pans can thus be moved more easily from one zone to another. In doing so, they not only reduce metal wear, the whole thing is also considerably quieter than on cooktops with conventional decorative printing.
The new berbel Downline Infinity features a particularly powerful, energy-efficient ventilation concept. A single, aerodynamic extraction unit ensures constant suction - naturally according to the revolutionary berbel principle, in which grease and cooking vapors are separated from each other by centrifugal force. Via the intake grille with angled guides, cooking odors and vapors are reliably drawn in. With the centrally positioned Powermover, the extraction performance on a specific cooking side can be increased by moving the Powermover to the left or right.
The extraction unit consists of two parts. All loose elements of this unit can be easily wiped off with a cloth and are dishwasher safe. The Downline Infinity is available in air extraction, recirculation or permalyt® filter variants.
