With the new hood Curveline berbel introduces a completely new concept for the wall-mounted hood. As a chimney-less recirculation hood, the Curveline deliberately distances itself from the classic T-shape typology and fits seamlessly into modern kitchen architecture. Even before its market launch, the model was awarded the renowned iF Design Award 2026 in the Product Design category.

Kitchens are increasingly becoming part of open, harmonious living spaces, increasing demands for design and functionality. Form, light and technology

Subtle details give the Curveline its sophisticated look. The brushed aluminum frame on the top and bottom provides a calm finish and an even lighting effect. The all-round integrated LED lighting combines functional work light with ambient lighting and is a natural part of the design.

The Curveline works according to the proven berbel principle. Instead of traditional grease filters, centrifugal force is used for efficient air cleaning. Grease and dirt particles are effectively separated, maintaining long-term performance and easy maintenance. As a recirculating hood, the cleaned air remains in the room, contributing to a pleasant indoor environment. The integrated BackFlow Technology ensures optimal airflow and prevents condensation.

The Curveline was awarded the 2026 iF Design Award even before its market launch at the end of May 2026 for the consistent combination of design, functionality and ease of use. The internationally renowned design prize is among the most important awards within product design and is awarded annually by an independent expert jury.
