What do you do as an appliance manufacturer when your mission statement clearly states that you want to make consumers' lives easier and healthier? Right, then you are active in all areas of the kitchen in terms of appliances and you go all out to develop innovative technologies that make them easier to use. Today Beko is launching a further round of innovations.
Creating your dream kitchen doesn't happen overnight. Appliance manufacturer Beko knows that it takes a lot of effort for a consumer to put together the right puzzle in terms of kitchen appliances. "But we are happy to help you go a long way," the manufacturer says. After all, Beko is working diligently to bring innovative appliances to market in every product group. "Not just innovate for the sake of innovating," it sounds. "Do innovate
to enjoy together as well as to protect your own health and that of our planet." In this article, we zoom in on recently introduced innovations in ovens and the Beko induction cooktop with integrated range hood.
The fact that cooking with steam has taken off in recent years has also been well noted by Beko. More so, they integrated some features into the ovens that support cooking with steam. With SteamAssist and SteamAid, dishes stay crispy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside. In addition, Beko developed the AeroPerfect technology for which it took inspiration from the aviation industry. "How do we ensure that preparations are ready up to 27% faster and cook more evenly up to 40%?" the manufacturer asks itself. "It's an ingenious interplay of a new interior of the oven, a powerful fan that drives heat through the oven at a solid number of revolutions per minute, and the use of three resistors to make this happen more effectively.
An oven with a large capacity, that sounds like music to your ears. But it also sometimes happens that when preparing a meal, you don't need that much space at all. Beko now comes out with the Split & Cook technology that addresses this situation. "By means of a divider, you can divide the oven space into two," explains the manufacturer. "It is then possible to use only the top half, only the bottom half or both halves separately from each other. Three ovens in one, in other words. So cooking two dishes at the same time is perfectly possible, even when the dishes have different cooking times and even when there is a difference in temperature between the two halves. That difference can be as much as 80°C. Preparing a small meal? Then use only the bottom half. It results in energy savings of up to 40%."
Cooktops with integrated extractor, it's mainstream by now. And Beko also has a solution in this category. "Important in its development was to preserve the performance of both the cooktop and the extractor," Beko emphasizes. "The extraction module sits nicely in the center of the cooktop and sucks away foul odors and also oil droplets immediately after they occur. But cooking also remains top priority, and with four flexible cooking zones, the (amateur) cook gets value for money. Need four cooking zones? Or two normal ones and one larger one? Our induction hob with integrated extractor is suitable for preparing really any meal. And operation is also a breeze thanks to the intuitive and user-friendly Direct Access Sliders on the cooktop itself."
