The ATAG 8 series is therefore equipped with Adaptive Control, a technology that adjusts cooling behavior according to use. If the door is opened more often around cooking time or remains open longer during cooking, the system automatically adjusts to limit temperature fluctuations.
Combined with OptiFlow, in which cool air is evenly distributed through the refrigerator via multiple air vents in the back wall, a carefully balanced storage climate is created right into every corner. Whether milk, vegetables, fruit, meat or fish: all ingredients benefit from even cooling and controlled humidity. Thus, they retain their healthy nutrients, stay fresh and flavorful for longer.
In addition to temperature and air circulation, humidity also plays an important role in maintaining freshness. For fruits and vegetables, this is even decisive. Think of spinach that must remain crisp, berries that must not shrivel or peppers that must retain their firmness. Thanks to Auto Humidity Control, the humidity in the fruit and vegetable drawer is automatically regulated and kept at an optimal level. This helps prevent dehydration and ensures a longer shelf life.
The 8 Series features Nordic Fresh, a special 0°C zone that creates stable conditions for fragile products such as fresh salmon or beef carpaccio. These products thrive optimally at a temperature around freezing without actually freezing. Thus, the taste and quality is preserved even during intensive daily use of the refrigerator.
In addition to optimal conditions in the refrigerator compartment, the 8 Series also offers advanced technology in the freezer compartment. Manual defrosting is no longer necessary: thanks to No Frost technology, ice formation is prevented as the cooling system dehumidifies the air. This way, the entire storage space is used and the freezer works more energy-efficiently, which is good for the environment as well as your wallet.
Also practical in everyday use are the fully extendable telescopic slides. All drawers in the refrigerator section are equipped with these, ensuring optimum overview and efficient use of the space available in the drawer.
