Energy champions exceed expectations
Liebherr sets a new standard in energy-efficient cooling and freezing with a number of innovative built-in models. Liebherr appliances combine high-quality technology with exceptionally low energy consumption. Focusing on performance, comfort and durability, these appliances were clearly developed by a refrigeration specialist.
The ICBa 5123 from the Plus series represents an important milestone within the Liebherr range. As the first fully-integratable fridge-freezer combination in energy efficiency class A, this model unites top performance with advanced technology befitting a premium brand like Liebherr. For end users who value both freshness preservation and maintenance-free convenience, the ICBNbi 5153 offers the solution. Indeed, this model combines BioFresh and NoFrost, making a convincing step towards maximum convenience.

When choosing a new fridge-freezer combination, people often look at the energy label, but what does such a label actually say in practice? The Liebherr ICBa 5123 with energy class A consumes only 105 kWh annually, which converts to about € 32, - per year. In comparison, an average family of four consumes about 3600 kWh per year. The consumption of the ICBa 5123 is thus less than 3% of the total energy consumption in the home - and that for an appliance that is on 24/7. This shows well how efficient and energy-efficient this Liebherr fridge-freezer combination actually is.
Within the standard niche 178 arrangement, the IRBbi 5150 and IRBbi 5151 from the Prime series offer an excellent balance between energy consumption and storage quality. Both models fall in energy class B and feature BioFresh, meeting the demand for energy-efficient solutions without compromising on ease of use or quality. These models address a target audience that expects a refrigerator to not only be functional, but also help reduce food waste and optimize energy consumption.

Liebherr also offers an energy-efficient solution for situations where more storage capacity is desired. The CNsfa 7723 and CBNsda 775i are both 75 cm wide fridge-freezers with energy class A. These freestanding models make it clear that capacity and efficiency go perfectly well together. They are designed with families and intensive use in mind, without increasing energy costs. Both appliances are also prepared for integration into a smart household via SmartDevice technology.
A key feature of the freestanding CBNsda 775i is its thoughtful workmanship. High-quality materials, smart sensors and precise temperature controls ensure reliable performance year after year. The models have been developed with attention to component longevity and low-maintenance operation - aspects that contribute to a lower total cost of ownership and reduced carbon footprint.

With these models, Liebherr underscores its pioneering role in sustainable refrigeration technology. Each model is designed with the conviction that ease of use, performance and energy savings should reinforce each other. To keep energy consumption permanently low, Liebherr uses sustainable silica-based vacuum panels. Unlike alternatives such as fiberglass, whose insulation value decreases noticeably over time, these panels retain their performance throughout the appliance's lifetime. Whereas traditional materials can result in a lower energy efficiency rating after only a few years, the insulating performance of silica vacuum technology remains constant. This directly contributes to Liebherr appliances remaining energy efficient over a long period of time, and that too is what makes Liebherr so popular with retailers and end users.
