World's largest refrigerator provides cooling at Strong Viking Run

During the past water edition of the Strong Viking Run, Inventum, in collaboration with advertising agency Opvallers, provided a spectacular highlight on the course: the largest refrigerator obstacle in the world. Thousands of Vikings participating in the 13, 19 or 42 kilometers passed this eye-catching contraption, which incorporated two ice-cold baths filled with kilos of ice.

Under the motto "Find cooling with Inventum", participants were challenged to push their limits and cool off for a while at the same time. The obstacle consisted of a gigantic refrigerator construction that integrated two ice baths. The ice-cold plunge not only cooled participants down, but also gave them a surprising energy boost to keep going full steam ahead. The refrigerator became the topic of conversation among the Vikings and generated countless photos and enthusiastic reactions.

But that wasn't all. While participants got an ice-cold boost in the refrigerator obstacle, spectators also enjoyed some refreshment. From the "coolest bike in the Netherlands," Inventum treated everyone to refreshing popsicles. The eye-catching bike drew plenty of spectators and created a happy, ice-cold atmosphere along the entire course.

Together with advertising agency Opvallers, Inventum brought the campaign to life in a unique way. The action was part of Inventum's "Cooling & Freezing" campaign, designed to highlight cooling in an original way and increase brand awareness. With a giant refrigerator full of ice baths and ice creams for both participants and spectators, Inventum provided cooling just when it was needed most.
