Liebherr: “Always perfectly chilled, everywhere”

Consumers are increasingly opting for specialized solutions, both in the kitchen and outside. To even literally outside. This has not escaped the attention of refrigeration and freezer specialist Liebherr either. The development of these specific solutions, for example, undercounter beverage coolers and outdoor coolers, is therefore running at full speed.

The demand for high-quality (beverage) refrigeration is growing rapidly. Both in the kitchen and outside, consumers are looking for exactly the solutions they need. This is music to the ears of a specialist like Liebherr. With the new undercounter beverage coolers and the also new outdoor coolers, they are responding to the wishes of (demanding) customers.

Presentation as part of the experience

The core business of the beverage cooler is, of course, keeping the drinks you put in it adequately cool. These days, that goes beyond just wine; soft drinks and even other delicacies also benefit from proper cooling. Beverage coolers have outgrown that purely functional for a while now; after all, they also contribute to the look of the kitchen. The undercounter models are available with a black glass door or a glass door on which a door frame can be mounted. “The glass door combined with integrated LED ceiling lighting ensures a beautiful presentation and a good view of the contents,” outlines Bart Kraan of Liebherr. “More than suitable where appliances need to present beverages visibly and accessibly.”

Intensive use

Setting the temperature is an important item in all cooling appliances. Liebherr's undercounter beverage coolers provide precise temperature settings from +1 °C to +9 °C, performable via TouchControl controls. This makes it possible to keep different beverages at the desired serving temperature. Liebherr integrates an optical and acoustic door and temperature alarm that alerts users to any deviations from the set temperature or when the door is not closed correctly. “The new undercounter models are a practical addition to kitchens,” said Crane. “The outdoor cooler enriches outdoor kitchens while the beverage cooler offers a stylish and practical solution for living rooms or offices.”

Logical expansion

The growth of outdoor kitchens is increasing demand for suitable refrigeration solutions there as well. Outdoor coolers are therefore a logical addition to the Liebherr range. They are distinguished by their robust features, including an IPX4 splash rating that makes the units resistant to rain and humid conditions. Liebherr's outdoor coolers are also designed to operate reliably at temperatures from -10 °C to +32 °C.

In terms of ease of use, they are identical to the indoor models. Pull-out shelves, adjustable carrying platforms and divisible shelves allow for flexible layout. And thanks to the integration of smart technology, namely the SmartDeviceBox, all coolers, both indoor and outdoor, can be easily connected to smarthome systems that allow remote control.
