AEG will showcase more than 59 new kitchen appliances at Küchenmeile 2026. From September 20 through 24, the brand will present these new products at the Kitchen Center in Löhne. In addition to new features, the further expansion of the SaphirMatt® line stands out. With this, AEG is responding to the trend of kitchens where appliances are increasingly blending into the overall design.
The new products are being introduced under the banner ‘The Perfect Kitchen.’ Design, technology, and energy efficiency are the key principles behind this initiative. According to KR Sales Manager Dennis Fakkert, this approach aligns with the position AEG is striving to achieve in the premium segment. “AEG wants to play a leading role in the premium kitchen appliance segment. We want to offer an alternative between traditional mass-market brands and exclusive luxury kitchen brands.”
He cites innovative features, quality, sustainable design, and ease of use as distinguishing factors. At the Küchenmeile, this positioning should be evident primarily through the new appliances themselves.

A key theme in the product launches is how appliances are integrated into kitchen design. AEG has observed that matte fronts, countertops, and other surfaces are playing an increasingly important role and is therefore further expanding its product line with SaphirMatt®.
One of the new models is the SaphirMatt® PURE ComboHob PE7002S80. When this cooktop is turned off, the controls and cooking zones are not visible. As a result, the surface remains uniformly matte; the controls and cooking zone indicators only appear once the cooktop is activated. This technology is thus only visible when the hob is in use. The ComboHob also features a dual bridge function.
The selection of matte black ovens is also expanding. AEG is introducing models with EXPlore+ Touch controls that are positioned lower than the existing matte black versions. This makes this finish suitable for a wider range of kitchen projects.
According to Fakkert, glass remains an important material for kitchen appliances. AEG does not limit itself to matte finishes; high-gloss finishes also remain part of the product line. The various finishes give designers and kitchen professionals more options for coordinating appliances with the rest of the kitchen interior.

In addition to the expansion of the SaphirMatt® line, AEG is bringing several other new appliances and features to Löhne. One of the standout introductions is the PizzaExpert oven. Designed for specific cooking applications, it is one of the examples the brand plans to use to showcase its technological advancements during the trade show.
According to Fakkert, however, AEG’s premium positioning goes beyond individual features or products. Design and functionality must work together to determine how the appliances are perceived and used. In doing so, the brand draws on its long-standing promise of ‘Perfect in Form and Function.’.
The Dutch AEG delegation will be at the Kitchen Center in Löhne from September 20 through 24, 2026. Trade visitors can schedule an appointment for a presentation in advance through their account manager.
