Induction cooktop offers room to let off steam
Maximum comfort and optimal functionality - that's what it's all about in the kitchen. That is why berbel engineers and product designers, in addition to intelligent extractor systems, developed a panorama cooktop this year. Because cooking and air extraction go hand-in-hand, the new panorama hob features an integrated extractor control. The innovative cooktop and the berbel extractor hood are interconnected and work optimally together in three modes. Cooking is made even more enjoyable by the elongated shape of the induction cooktop. The side-by-side cooking zones offer the user more space and comfort when cooking - no more bending over hot, steaming pans.
The new panorama cooktop (BKF 90 iPP) from berbel measures 900 x 400 mm and is divided horizontally into four zones: the two left zones can be connected via a bridge function, allowing them to form one large cooking surface. On the right side there are two round zones. The zones are next to each other and offer enough space for cooking utensils. Thanks to the protective coating from SCHOTT - which ensures less wear marks on the hob - pots and pans glide quietly and almost as if by themselves over the induction hob. Depending on requirements and installation options, the cooktop can be integrated flush into the kitchen worktop or raised. The panorama hob has numerous practical functions that make cooking and roasting even more enjoyable. The four generous cooking zones are operated from the front of each zone via the intuitive sensor touch controls with slider function. In addition to heating the cooking zones, numerous additional cooking functions can also be selected via the menu field. This makes preparing a variety of dishes even easier.
In addition to the four sliders, one for each cooking zone, the panorama cooktop features a fifth slider specifically for hood control. The cooktop and a berbel wall-mounted hood, headless hood or island hood connect to each other via the berbel ConInterface. The extractor hood can then be switched on and off directly from the cooktop and the fan positions can also be controlled in this way. The functions of the extractor hood are available in three modes (AutoRun+ function): manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic. In the semi-automatic mode, the extractor hood is automatically started when the cooktop is turned on. The fan starts independently at level 3, with the lighting providing a pleasant working light. Vice versa: as soon as the cooktop is turned off, the extractor hood switches to lag function and then automatically turns off. The light remains on. In fully automatic mode, the fan setting automatically adjusts to the cooking zone that is at its highest setting. Ideal for anyone who wants to concentrate optimally on his/her dish and have their hands free to cook as creatively as possible.
