The kitchen trends of 2023

The Küchenmeile in Löhne and its surroundings is the perfect platform to show a host of innovations and new trends in the kitchen to an interested public. Keller Kitchens knows this all too well. The manufacturer from Bergen op Zoom went to Germany with four new kitchen designs as well as the new utility room program.

The new kitchen design for the modern living style is called Nautical Navy, with striking T-shaped island in navy blue melamine and the beautiful tall cabinetry in embossed warm walnut veneer.

During the Küchenmeile, Löhne and its surroundings are all about kitchens. Kitchen manufacturers open their doors there simultaneously, and at numerous other locations even more kitchen players gather to present their innovations, new designs and trends. One such location is the beautiful Gut Böckel estate. The current owners of the building ensemble, first mentioned in the history books in 1350, began a major renovation project in 1991. Today they are used for numerous (large) events such as a literary festival, weddings, seminars and thus the Küchenmeile.

A country kitchen can be quite modern too, Keller Kitchens proves with New Country. A striking wall drawing and the soft sage green stand out.

The personal kitchen

Keller Kitchens once again collaborated with Jetstone and Caesarstone for this edition of Küchenmeile. Together they transformed the Haferhaus, where the oats for the horses used to be gathered, into a pop-up showroom of Keller Kitchens. In this beautiful setting, Keller Kitchens put together four new kitchen designs, one for each living style the kitchen manufacturer always works around: modern, classic, country and industrial. "Our brand promise is 'The personal kitchen,' and each of the four new designs clearly reflects that," we hear during the tour. "Plenty of room for customization and a personal touch along with surprising details and refined finishes. Moreover, we live up to our name as a fast trend follower with the choice of colors and materials, such as the new embossed veneer front. Our extensive range of glass cabinets and the new range of cabinets and accessories for furnishing utility, storage and laundry rooms were also well liked by the numerous visitors. The beautiful, personal kitchen can certainly be designed with our range of products AND it is accessible to a broad target group."

Nautical Navy

The so-called T-kitchen proved to be a crowd pleaser during the Küchenmeile. Called Nautical Navy, the large kitchen is a newcomer to the modern living style. The island in navy blue melamine leans very closely to the trend color black. A very striking feature of this design is the tall cabinet wall in warm walnut veneer with embossed structure, a structure that can be nicely extended into other rooms of the home. Together, the island and the cabinetry create a nautical atmosphere in the kitchen. The kitchen's most striking feature, of course, is the T-shape of the composite countertop that is repeated in the open cabinets. In this arrangement with wine cabinet and four appliances nicely gathered together, the kitchen gets a luxurious finishing touch. The attentive visitor also discovered the beautiful placement of the appliances by the cooking fire and the sink with faucet by the dishwasher. "Water and fire are so separate from each other, separated, as it were, by the vertical recess cabinet," he said.

Majestic Mansion

The Dutch Masters have undeniably had a great influence on art history, be it painting or architecture. To such an extent that Keller Keukens carried the style of the Dutch Masters through to the Majestic Mansion, the new kitchen design in modern classical style shown at the Haferhaus. "It is the play between dark and light and also the floral pattern in the wallpaper that evokes this atmosphere," Keller Keukens said. "For the 'majestic', the warm, dark veneer with narrow frame and the glass doors in smoked glass provide it. Special elements are the recessed cabinet and also the open cabinets in pecan brown color. A beautiful, new design for the lover of the modern classical style."

New Country

With New Country, Keller Kitchens proves that a country kitchen can also be modern. "The traditional frame doors in sage green, a color from which we expect a lot, with handles in old copper breathe the atmosphere of grandmother's time," the manufacturer emphasizes. "However, the appliances and luxury drawers provide today's convenience. "Special accents in this new design are the worktop in two colors, the cabinet in the island and the spice bin above the countertop. But the striking nature drawing on the splashback also stands out."

Urban Nude's composite countertop continues vertically into the cabinetry.

Urban Nude

When we think of an industrial style, we often think of dark tones. "We do just the opposite with Urban Nude," Keller Kitchens points out. "We call it the 'nude' shades and then we are talking, for example, about fronts in the color sea salt. We deliberately extend the composite worktop vertically into the wall and integrate the wine cabinet into it. We finish the rest of the cabinet wall nicely with fronts in fluted glass."

Extra kitchen

The four living styles around which Keller Kitchens continues to develop its program are well known. But Keller Kitchens also packed in Gut Böckel with a newly developed cabinet program to furnish a utility room. "Surely it is a trend to furnish an additional room conveniently in addition to the beautiful kitchen that everyone sees," explains Keller Kitchens. "Call it a pantry, a storage room or a laundry room, it will certainly be a handy space that can be perfectly customized with our new range of tall cabinets and handy base and wall units. Completely in line with our promise. Moreover, we also offer accessories and cabinetry to give the utility room a personal touch as well. Ease of use and design also go hand in hand in the utility room."

Keller Kitchens: "Call it a pantry, storage or laundry room, thanks to our new program of cabinets, cabinetry and accessories, it becomes a beautifully furnished, convenient and personal space."

Digitally inspiring

Moreover, Keller Kitchens did not stop at the introduction of new kitchen designs and the pantry program. The new Keller Magazine also saw the light of day. "A conscious decision for more inspiration and depth," it sounds. "Instead of the traditional novelty brochure, we now bring the magazine with trend reports, the novelties of course and also backgrounds. This gives our dealers extra substance to use towards their customers. Customers will soon receive the magazine via website and e-mail and in addition the paper version will also come with inspiring images of trends, colors and materials. We thus fully support our kitchen specialists in their marketing and sales activities."
