A great capital city reference case on the invisible induction cooktop

'We cut and prepare in the same place we cook'

Cooking directly on the worktop is the trend of today. Indeed, it will not remain 'just' a trend, this technical functionality - combined with beautiful design - will be the innovation in the kitchen of today. At TPBtech Netherlands they are sure: there is no lack of enthusiasm. They see an increasing interest in the kitchen specialty stores in the Netherlands to include "the invisible induction cooktop" in the showroom. After all, consumers are and will be happy about it. Just ask Jos and Djonie, a young and modern couple from downtown Amsterdam.

So we immediately move to their beautiful historic canal house where they live with their family. They chose the invisible induction cooktop for their modern living kitchen. "When we bought the property, we knew we wanted something a little different with our kitchen," the couple explains. "Naturally, we started looking online and that's how we discovered TPBtech's induction countertops. We did see at that time that these were really only used by professional chefs, in restaurants for example, but at the same time we also saw that an increasing number of kitchen specialty stores were including this product in their assortment. I believe that we are one of the first consumers in the Netherlands to use these technologies integrated into worktops."

In fact, you no longer feel like you are in a kitchen.

"We have a narrow long kitchen. Because TPBtech's worktop is custom-made, we were able to play with the dimensions. Our worktop is almost five meters long. In addition to the extra long worktop, the four invisible induction cooking zones are completely concealed. We chose to place the cooking zones a little further apart to create extra workspace. We cut and prepare in the same place we cook. At the same time, you can unload the dishwasher and place the dishes on the worktop. After all, it doesn't get very hot around the cooking zone. In short, for us this is just very practical."

According to Djonie, Jos in particular is crazy about all kinds of gadgets. "And, it's 'Idiot Proof,'" she laughs. "So: easy to operate. A child can do the laundry. Thanks to the innovative techniques used."

It goes without saying that the TPBtech Netherlands team have good ambassadors in Jos and Djonie. "You can't wish for better advertising," conclude the employees of the TPBtech team, responsible for the further introduction and distribution within the Benelux. "The curiosity is growing and in the meantime Jos and Djonie are no longer the only private individuals in the Netherlands who have these worktops in the
kitchen use."

And so this is what the modern living kitchen can look like. Straight to the table? No problem!

When TPBtech is asked if a description can be given of "the type of consumer" who is (by definition) interested in this invisible induction cooktop, the answer is very clear. "These worktops are in the high end segment. Exceptions aside, of course, but it is our assessment that these are finding their way well to our target market. And, they are people who also know that 'the eye also wants something'. So, the use of innovative techniques goes hand in hand with beautiful design and everything can be custom made.
