A milestone to be celebrated
Things are going well for Jetstone and that should be celebrated. Two years ago, the worktop specialist completed a new 16,000 m² building to expand its production facilities. Some production lines are already running at full capacity and recently the office area was officially inaugurated. A milestone to be celebrated. And so it happened.
Saturday, May 17, was dotted on Jetstone's calendar. An important milestone in the rich history of the worktop specialist, and by extension the kitchen industry, was then celebrated. The brand new headquarters, the final piece of the previously realized expansion of production capacity, was solemnly inaugurated. It was a day all about pride, connection and looking forward to the future.
"The new office is an inspiring work environment where homeliness, sustainability and functionality come together," said Mark Joosten of Jetstone. "Lots of greenery, warm materials and an open layout make the building an oasis of tranquility and connection. Each department has its own modern workspaces, with short lines between colleagues thanks to the central location. The pantries offer a view of the production hall, making the link between the office and true craftsmanship tangible. The spacious canteen is also multifunctional because in addition to the daily lunch, the space is also suitable for presentations of up to 150 people, thanks to the large screens and integrated sound system. The meeting rooms are also equipped with smart technology that enables hybrid consultation. With two floors and still room for expansion of workplaces, we are completely ready for the future. driving support."
You don't celebrate a milestone like this alone, thought Jetstone. "You celebrate a special opening in a special way," also confirms Joosten. "We invited all employees to take a look behind the scenes with their families and friends. For many of them, the family day was the first time they discovered where their loved one works every day." Partners, children, seniors and friends got a unique insight into the process behind the stone-like countertops during tours of the new offices and production halls. Outside, young and old were surprised with a carnival, a petting zoo, a Formula One simulator and interactive games such as life-size Duck Hunt. The sunshine was there, as were many happy faces.
Business and pleasure go hand in hand at Jetstone. Because in addition to the festivities, we also saw a considerable expansion of the assortment. No fewer than nine colors of composite were added in recent months, as well as three new shades of ceramic. Joosten: "Among the new composite colors, the elegant Asura and the warm Macademia Gold stand out. But also worth mentioning are the two variants Crema Consciente and Greige Consciente from the durable Consciente line. These are made with 90% recycled material, a conscious choice in line with the growing demand for sustainable solutions in the
kitchen industry. Rapolano, Travertino White and Onyx White are the three newcomers to the ceramic range. They bring subtle textures and natural hues that fit within modern interior styles.
