Introducing the new series of built-in refrigerators and freezers
With the introduction of the FreshTech series, ETNA is setting a new standard in built-in refrigerators and freezers. The Dutch manufacturer is launching three series—the 4, 8, and 9 series—that excel in freshness, ease of use, and energy efficiency. New technologies such as Dual-Tech Cooling, Metal-Tech Cooling, and luxurious details such as telescopic guides and antibacterial drawers take kitchen comfort to a higher level.
This fall, ETNA is expanding its built-in range with the FreshTech series: a completely new generation of refrigerators and freezers that combine technology, design, and sustainability. With the introduction of the 8 and 9 series, ETNA demonstrates that luxury specifications are also possible at the affordable price point at which ETNA positions itself.
The FreshTech series is ETNA's response to the growing demand for appliances that are not only practical, but also contribute to comfort, health, and energy efficiency. Behind the understated design lies a series of innovations that are new to ETNA. For the first time, the brand is applying Dual-Tech Cooling and Metal-Tech Cooling – technologies that were previously reserved for the higher price segment. By cooling the refrigerator and freezer compartments independently of each other, the temperature and humidity remain optimally balanced. Products retain their taste, texture, and shelf life, while odors do not mix. The metal rear wall in the 8 and 9 series helps to retain the cold better and limits temperature fluctuations, even when the door is opened frequently. The 9 series also has a Metal-Tech Cooling door panel to keep the temperature in the door shelves stable after opening the refrigerator.
The FreshTech series also stands out for its quiet and efficient operation. The inverter compressor saves energy and keeps the temperature stable. The top models in the 9 series have an energy label C and a noise level of only 34 decibels. This makes them economical and whisper quiet – ideal for modern, open-plan kitchens.
ETNA has also paid a lot of attention to ease of use. The interior is clearly laid out and spacious, with smooth-running drawers on telescopic runners and a generous Big Box freezer drawer that easily accommodates larger packages. The antibacterial vegetable drawers with adjustable humidity ensure that fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer. Total No-Frost technology eliminates the need for manual defrosting, while energy-efficient LED lighting illuminates the entire interior. Specifications may vary depending on the model, series, and type of product.
Those who want flexibility will find smart solutions in FreshTech, such as the Smart Zone—a separate compartment with an adjustable temperature between -5 and +3 degrees Celsius, ideal for meat products, cheese, or beverages. The freezer's Convert Zone goes one step further: it allows the entire freezer compartment to be temporarily converted into a refrigerator. Handy for parties, stocking up or seasonal use.
ETNA has also taken a step forward in terms of size and design. For the first time, two extra-tall models measuring 194 centimeters are being introduced, allowing the brand to respond to the trend toward spacious kitchens with integrated appliance walls. The models have a sleek design, are quiet in use, and fit seamlessly into contemporary kitchen designs. With the door-on-door construction, the user can utilize the full depth of the cabinet, without extra hinges or loss of space.
The FreshTech series comprises three levels. The 4 series is the accessible entry-level model with modern basic functions and an attractive price. The 8 series offers extra luxury with a Metal Cooling rear panel, antibacterial materials, and greater ease of use. The 9 series is the flagship of the collection: quiet, energy-efficient, and equipped with the most advanced cooling technology.
With the FreshTech series, ETNA demonstrates that innovation does not necessarily have to be unaffordable. The appliances operate quietly, but make a visible difference in every way—in style, ease of use, and the freshness of everyday life.
