Seen at the Milan fair: three inspiring icons for the kitchen!

Of course, Swiss company V-ZUG was also present at the Salone del Mobile in Milan (I). With an eye on innovation and sustainability, the company collaborated with pioneers in design, art, culture and gastronomy. From an art installation in the new Milan showroom to a series of captivating Monocle Talks, visitors were spoiled for choice. In the beautiful setting of the H+O Apartment Gallery, V-ZUG presented three of its most impressive products as the icing on the cake. They are three icons whose high-tech character and stylish modernity take the kitchen to new places.

Stamped as the figurehead of V-ZUG's ingenuity, the CombiSteamer V6000 45L Grand impresses with a feat of technology. With a width of no less than 90 centimeters, the new combi steamer is some 30 cm wider than its predecessors, which boosts the appliance's functionality - think preparing large casseroles or multiple dishes simultaneously. The heating elements were designed to distribute steam and hot air evenly over the available oven space. In a sleek and modern look, the steam oven also combines the convenience and benefits of steam with hot air and a wide grill plate.

V-ZUG integrated two separate temperature zones - one for red and one for white wine.

After a long (work) day, a cool glass of wine quenches the thirst. Wine lovers store their beloved collection in the WineCooler V6000 Supreme from V-ZUG at the desired temperature and nicely in sight. The advanced system maintains temperature and humidity at all times while the reinforced glass blocks harmful UV rays - in an elegant and sleek design, of course. Do you have a wider collection with different types of wine? No problem, because V-ZUG integrated two separate temperature zones - one for red and one for white wine. That way you store each color in the same cooler, always at the right degree.

In a perfectly designed kitchen, an unwieldy hood is an eyesore. The sleek design of the CombiCookTop V4000 puts an end to this, as the state-of-the-art induction cooktop is finished with an integrated and discreet extractor. As usual from V-ZUG, the appliance is a paragon of innovative technology: equipped with smart sensors and induction coils, the plate detects pots and pans and adapts to their size and shape. The strong and instant extraction also features CleanAir technology, which eliminates unpleasant odors. Swiss design at its best.

Impact on daily life

During the fair, the future Milan showroom was opened to an interactive and circular art installation, in collaboration with designers Elisa Ossino and Stefano Roveda. Inspired by the sixty-fifth anniversary of the Adora washing machine, the "Fluxus" exhibition invited visitors to dive into the story of V-ZUG in a unique way. In the beautiful interior setting of the H+O Apartment Gallery, the staff with curators Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer and Elisa Ossino welcomed its guests. During 'A taste of V-ZUG,' chefs from the V-ZUG Gourmet Academy unpacked their culinary skills for a delicious gastronomic experience. In addition, visitors could enjoy a sensory art installation designed by Muuto, V-ZUG and H+O, based on the 'butterfly effect,' or how making small choices and changes have an immense impact on everyday life.
