For Liebherr, elegant design goes beyond visual: it is also about technology. The appliances on display at the Küchenmeile offer something new for the eyes and something record-breaking for the ears.
New variants of Liebherr's freestanding and fully integrated appliances feature a high-quality BlackSteel interior that perfectly complements modern, dark kitchen aesthetics and offers an exciting accent. The appliance back wall and inner door feature impressive black stainless steel surfaces with a unique brushed texture. The trim strips are also finished in BlackSteel to complete the dark look.
In modern households, the boundary between kitchen and living space is increasingly blurred, underlining how important it is for appliances to make as little noise as possible. This is why Liebherr's range offers a wide range of extremely quiet appliances, which carry the "UltraSilent" label. Five of our fully integrated appliances have been awarded the title of quietest Liebherr appliances of all time at just 27 dB. This fall, customers can see for the first time how they can enjoy the sound of silence starting next year.

AutoDoor is a digital solution that combines design and convenience: fully integrated appliances with this feature can fully open and close using a voice assistant, such as Alexa. This is not only convenient when your hands are full in the kitchen, it also facilitates the perfection of a fully handle-free kitchen. With the SmartDevice app, settings such as the opening angle and how long the door stays open before it closes automatically can be adjusted. If necessary, the door can also be opened and closed via the app, using a knock signal, or manually as before.
Monolith impresses customers around the world with its range of exclusive features. The range has now been redesigned and even more benefits have been added. To underscore its high-quality look, all future door shelves will have a linear and easy-to-clean design with discreet corner joints. In addition, more space has been created on each carrier shelf for food items, so that groceries can now be stored across the entire width of the door for the first time. Liebherr's unique flapless closing system ensures that each door always remains fully closed and can be opened independently.

In addition, at the Architekturwerkstatt there will be a preview of the newly launched range of Vinidor wine climate cabinets. Just like the new wine storage cabinets that have already been presented, these new devices meet the five prerequisites for perfect wine storage: temperature, humidity, protection against UV radiation, protection against foreign odors and vibration-free storage. In addition, Vinidor wine climate cabinets feature up to three individually adjustable temperature zones. The wooden carrying shelves, which adjust to the size of the bottles, are also flexible. Thanks to this feature, known as FlexFit, even a magnum can be stored easily and safely. Another highlight of the new Vinidor series is the SommelierBoard. This is a stylish space with glass holders, decanting zone and wooden box for accessories, specially designed for presenting and handling wine.
SmartDevice is the connectivity solution for Liebherr refrigerators and freezers. All Liebherr refrigerators and freezers come with network connectivity from the factory, or it is possible to add this functionality by retrofitting the SmartDeviceBox. Consumers benefit from all the functions available in the SmartDevice app, as well as the integration of any Liebherr appliances into an existing smart home. Important status and alarm notifications are sent directly to a smartphone, such as notification of an open refrigerator door via the door alarm. Another benefit is that the SmartDevice app can indicate where groceries are best stored to keep them fresher for longer. It helps Liebherr's customers benefit daily from these technical refinements by improving energy efficiency and keeping their food fresh for as long as possible.
