German Design Award 2023 for Liebherr

Liebherr was one of the winners of the German Design Awards 2023 for its latest range of freestanding appliances. The jury, in the Excellent Product Design Kitchen category, was impressed by the stylish design and intelligent fresh food technologies. A total of seven refrigerators from the Prime and Peak series and the side-by-side models from the peak series received the coveted award for outstanding product design. The German Design Award is presented annually by the German Design Council. The award once again underscores the exceptional product design and quality that define Liebherr as the refrigeration specialist.

Liebherr's latest generation of freestanding appliances has won over the German Design Council with its concept and design to deliver boundless freshness. The German Design Award: Excellent Product Design Kitchen 2023 endorses the logical overall appearance of the refrigerators, which are distinguished by high-quality materials, rectilinear shapes and unique interior equipment design. Liebherr's latest product range unites timeless and elegant design with customer-oriented and future-oriented functions.

Elegant appearance inside and out

The Jury was particularly impressed by the high-quality materials of the Prime and Peak series, which are characterized by stylishly designed models with clear shapes and noble materials. The special designs range from SteelFinish with a sophisticated stainless steel look to traditional stainless steel and the unmistakable BlackSteel finish. Liebherr also uses stainless steel in the interior of the refrigeration appliances, which prevents unwanted moisture and freezing and is therefore particularly hygienic for food storage.
