From September 20 to 25, the international kitchen industry will once again gather in Löhne, Germany. The fourteenth edition of area30, the meeting point par excellence for professionals who are shaping the future of the kitchen with vision and craftsmanship, will once again open its doors. "In an economic context that challenges adaptation and innovation, area30 remains a beacon of stability and progress," echoes organizer Trendfairs.
What began in 2011 as a classic trade show concept is today a broad-based event for kitchen studios, specialty stores, project planners, designers and, increasingly, joiners and interior designers. The location is very well chosen. Löhne is in the heart of the German kitchen furniture industry, which means short lines of communication between manufacturers and specialist retailers. More than two hundred brands add to the lure that some 12,000 visitors could not resist last year. So the epicenter of what is called the "Kitchen Autumn" in Germany is in Löhne.

The term trade fair no longer covers the image of area30, content platform all the more. Knowledge sharing is becoming increasingly important during Löhne's six-day event. According to Sylvia Rasek of Trendfairs, "An interesting program full of stimulating presentations is waiting. Storytelling, customer experience, sustainability, digital innovation: the themes are burning hot for all kitchen professionals. In Germany but also in Belgium, the Netherlands and so on. The relaunch of the Innovation Area also underscores our substantive direction. Both new players and established brands will have room here to experiment with compact, approachable exhibition concepts. The Innovation Area is at the same time a meeting place where ideas, designs and stories intersect."

The focus on the latest kitchen trends, techniques and, of course, products is not forgotten. From worktops to lighting, smart appliances to sustainable materials, the entire product palette is present on the show floor. The mix between product and concept presentations and the opportunity to network, gather inspiration and relax gives area30 its unique character. At the same time, the organization keeps its finger on the pulse. For example, the additional approach to the joinery sector is new this year. Content sessions and product presentations are tailored to this target group which, especially in Belgium, traditionally plays a major role in custom projects. "We are thus responding to a clear market need and inviting a more diverse visitor profile," explains Rasek.

Those who want to move forward also look ahead. Those who want to understand the kitchen of tomorrow will find answers to concrete questions in Löhne today. Rasek: "Innovative products, strategic market news, new contacts or a fresh look at where the kitchen sector is heading, area30 provides a valuable context to gain those insights. Here, in one compact location, you will find a European offering and enough inspiration to get started at home."
