Effective January 1, 2026, Franke Home Solutions will transfer leadership to Corrado Mura, an experienced manager from its own organization with a strong international background and proven leadership qualities. He succeeds Barbara Borra, who is stepping down and retiring after seven years, having successfully developed the division with strategic vision.
The Franke Group Board of Directors has appointed Corrado Mura as the new CEO/President of the Franke Home Solutions Division and a member of the Group Management Board. He succeeds Barbara Borra, who is entering well-deserved retirement after seven years at the helm of the division. During this time, she made a significant contribution to the successful growth and positioning of Franke Home Solutions, providing lasting impetus for the future of the division through strategic insight and strong leadership.
Corrado Mura joined the Franke Group in March 2020 and most recently held the position of Vice President for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region within Franke Home Solutions. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions within Europe at Whirlpool Corporation for more than 20 years, including EMEA Market Integration Director, Commercial Director and CFO. The 53-year-old Italian holds a degree in Business and Management Economics from the University of Cagliari.
