Finally it was possible again: a DER KREIS annual meeting as we were used to. Last year the organization -just after the corona period- was able to organize the successful Dinner Show in Studio 21. Now that they have left these bizarre times behind, DER KREIS organized the annual meeting for its DER KREIS and My BAD entrepreneurs and suppliers on Monday, May 22, at Gooiland in Hilversum. The theme from Hattemerbroek to Success was central, of course referring to the Supplier Centre (the B2B showroom of DER KREIS and Mijn BAD). Getting & staying fit, as a person and as an organization, is the common thread, from both DER KREIS Netherlands and top speaker Remco Claassen. The evening ended in style with a festive performance by Xander de Buisonjé and Edsilia Rombley.
The afternoon program began with a gathering in the foyer where suppliers, entrepreneurs, cooperating parties, the press and other attendees met. The annual meeting started with a closed part for the DER KREIS and Mijn BAD participants where Nathalie Bakker (Managing Director sales and marketing) and Bart Opentij (Managing Director finance & purchasing) told about various market figures and internal figures from DER KREIS and Mijn BAD.
Top speaker Remco Claassen connected to the story of the board members in a very knowledgeable as well as humorous way. From this
clearly how important it is to have work that makes you truly happy, because that ensures fitness. After the walking dinner it was time for a party with well-known DJ-duo Victor & Rolf. Xander de Buisonjé and Edsilia Rombley provided a dazzling ending.
Nathalie Bakker and Bart Opentij gave an impressive presentation for all the guests, looking back on last year. They indicated that 2022 was the year of a totally overheated market and unprecedented delivery times. That was a tough period for many entrepreneurs, to say the least. How are things going now? A new phase has begun. They are seeing a decline or even stabilization of the market. Quite a relief! This period lends itself to looking at where we all have influence within the organization. How can DER KREIS and My BAD strengthen themselves for the future? After these intensive years, it is important to get and stay fit again. The organization stays fit by looking at the internal organization and business processes, by examining employee needs and by keeping an eye on changing consumer needs. Eliminating bottlenecks, subsidy schemes (such as the SLIM scheme) and the theme of sustainability contribute to a fit organization. By responding to this, they can find a new balance and continue to innovate. DER KREIS innovates
cooperation with its suppliers and affiliates through the new platform, a business-2-business showroom: aka the Supplier Centre - located in Hattemerbroek.
Holding director Mr. Leimbach came specially from Leonberg to speak about DER KREIS International. Not only is DER KREIS based in Germany and the Netherlands, they operate internationally. In addition to Germany and the Netherlands, DER KREIS operates in Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, the United Kingdom and Spain, among other countries. DER KREIS is developing at a rapid pace and could once again record a substantial plus in sales growth for 2022.
