Duo form blows out 10 candles

February 14, 2023 is not just about love for Mr. Niels Ettema and Mr. Ferniand Vos, but also about a big celebration. This is because the company Duovorm, which they founded, will celebrate its 10^e anniversary. Together with the team, this day they look back on many highlights and celebrate the successes achieved. 

From class to class 

In 2013, Niels and Ferniand were both still teaching engineering and woodworking. However, their own passion for furniture making was getting pretty out of hand. In the process, they were missing a webshop where you could purchase furniture hardware products by the piece. Time to change this according to the gentlemen! The webshop that could do this was founded by them under the name Meubelbeslagonline. The garage quickly became too small and was exchanged for a beautiful building. Duovorm now covers two grand warehouses and a showroom. The teaching position ended in 2017, where a full-time focus on Duovorm emerged. Where only dozens of orders were shipped per week in 2013, this grew to thousands per week by 2021. By November 2022, no less than the 400,000^e package out the door. The years 2021 and 2022 were therefore dominated by growth. Not only was Ceramic Tools BV with associated webshops (Tegelgereedschapshop.nl, Levellingshop.nl, Tegelzetshop.nl and Baupin.de) and a 750 m2 building in Groningen acquired, categories were also added to their own webshop. A major personnel expansion was inevitable.

Only one thing has always remained the same 

Since 2013, an awful lot has changed - for the better - for the company. However, one thing has never changed: Duoform's core values. The quality of all products, from a known or unknown brand, is the most important of these. As experienced handymen, Ferniand and Niels know better than anyone else what quality furniture hardware means for the end result. The quality of the brand-neutral advice does not diminish this. All supplies for jobs in and around the house are kept in stock under the roofs of the two warehouses in Veendam so that they can be delivered to the customer as quickly as possible.

Many 'French fries Friday' days, new collaborations and expansions later, February 14 is time to celebrate all the developments, colleagues and goals achieved.
