Since taking office in January 2007, he has significantly further developed, strategically expanded and sustainably shaped the MHK country branches in the Netherlands and Belgium through his initiative. Under his leadership, the successful country cluster of MHK Netherlands and MHK Belgium was created, which today offers many important synergies, future opportunities and growth potential for local trade and industry partners.
The new director will be Marc Asbeek Brusse, who is transferring to the company from BSH Netherlands and starting in his new position on Feb. 1, 2026.

“We thank Jeroen Geerling for his years of dedication and outstanding work over the past 18 years. Together with his great team, his performance represents continuity, stability and success. He has created important structures on site for our continued growth, built strong partnerships with trade and industry and purposefully promoted the strategic development of the site. With Jeroen Geerling leaves us not only an esteemed managing director, but also an exceptionally congenial colleague, whose open and constructive personality has greatly influenced our cooperation. We wish him all the best for the future,” emphasizes Volker Klodwig, CEO of the MHK Group.
Jeroen Geerling says, “I look back on the past years at MHK with pride and great gratitude. I am especially happy that I was able to help build a strong team that today takes care of the company with competence, dedication and heart. The growth of the past few years has been important, but most meaningful to me are the people with whom I have been able to walk this road. I would like to thank all my colleagues and partners very much for their trust, their support and the many moments we have experienced together.”
Jeroen Geerling is handing over the leadership of MHK Netherlands and MHK Belgium to Marc Asbeek Brusse, who will take the helm on February 1, 2026. Marc Asbeek Brusse has been closely associated with the industry and as an industry partner with MHK for more than 16 years as long-time managing director of BSH Nederland. He will consistently continue the course set by Jeroen Geerling and his team.
“We are pleased to have an experienced manager on board with Marc Asbeek Brusse, with whom we have worked for many years,” adds Volker Klodwig. “He knows our industry and the requirements of our trade and industry partners. We are confident that with him we can continue the expansion of our business in the Netherlands and Belgium in a sustainable way.”
