Design innovations at Küchenmeile: matte black induction hobs, dynamic light and advanced filter technology

Falmec is significantly expanding its range this fall with new induction hobs, sophisticated lighting applications and smart filter solutions. These innovations perfectly match the growing demand for integrated design solutions in the kitchen. Falmec is presenting these new products at Küchenmeile 2025.

One of the most notable innovations is the introduction of a matte black finish for various
induction hobs. This scratch-resistant finish, combined with white LED touch controls, creates a subtle contrast that fits perfectly into modern, minimalist kitchens. Models such as the Brera 90, Brera 75, Zero Easy and Level One are now available in this high-quality finish. With this, Falmec offers more choices for kitchen professionals who strive for harmony between appliances and interiors.

Light as perception

Within the latest generation of extractor hoods, lighting is no longer a detail, but a full part of the user experience. Falmec equips most of its models with dynamic LED lighting, which is infinitely adjustable in color temperature from 2,700K to 5,600K. The new Level One cooktop with motorized extractor also features dynamic LED lighting. This allows users to adapt the atmosphere in the kitchen to the time of day: functional cool-white light during cooking, warm dimmed light for a relaxing evening setting.

Smart and sustainable filtering

Falmec also continues to innovate in the area of air quality. The new Carbon.Zeo Microtech filter combines activated carbon and zeolite microparticles distributed over the porous fine-mesh structure of the filter mat. Thanks to this clever structure, odors and cooking fumes are effectively neutralized, airflow remains efficient and the filter lasts longer than traditional variants. Importantly, the filter is also regenerative: after use, it can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher without detergent and reactivated in a conventional oven at 50 degrees. This cycle can be repeated up to nine times, good for a total useful life of about 900 hours, or three to six years with regular use. This makes the system not only more hygienic and efficient, but also more sustainable.

Compact power and invisible elegance

Falmec also adds a compact solution to its successful Zero series: the Zero 76. Specially designed for kitchen cabinets 80 cm wide, this model retains the full functionality of its larger counterparts. Four cooking zones, central extraction, boost function and automatic pan recognition make this compact cooktop a full-fledged choice for more compact kitchens, without sacrificing design or technology.

A real eye-catcher is the Level One: an induction cooktop with recessed extraction unit. Thanks to the motorized system, the extraction unit automatically positions itself at the ideal height for efficient extraction of cooking vapor. The combination of satin aluminum, smoked glass and black glass or frosted glass gives the design a sophisticated look. The powerful, quiet brushless motor (800 m³/h) and dynamic LED lighting provide comfort, performance and ambience all in one. Available in both glossy and frosted glass, Level One fits perfectly into contemporary kitchen interiors.
