A second life

Beko uses recycled and organic materials for certain parts of its manufactured home appliances. "This is kinder to our planet without compromising performance and sustainability," the manufacturer emphasizes. In addition, plastic also gets a second life within the RecycledNet® ovens. Parts of these ovens are made from recycled fishing nets and industrial wire waste. "Every year, fishing nets injure or kill as many as thousands of whales, dolphins and other marine animals," Beko explains this choice. "We convert these recycled materials into high-quality materials, thus doing our (small) part
at making our natural environment healthy again."

Technology also plays a role

With the development of innovative technologies, Beko has even more assets to assist nature. And also the users
naturally reap the benefits of this. Just think of the AeroPerfect technology with 3D hot air in the new oven series. The new interior of these ovens ensures much less heat loss during cooking as well as faster cooking (up to 27%) and more even cooking (up to 40%).

Inside the refrigerator, Beko ensures longer vitamin preservation with HarvestFresh technology. Indeed, in the vegetable drawer, built-in lighting mimics a full 24-hour solar cycle and natural light. "This ensures the longer preservation of vitamins and nutrients and thus a healthier meal," explains Beko. "And after cooking, everything can go into the Beko CornerIntense™ dishwasher which, thanks to an innovative spray arm, cleans dishes 5 times more powerfully without using more water. The ultra-powerful water jets remove the most stubborn dirt."
