For a lot of people, it is and remains obvious that the cooker hood is located above the cooktop. The choice can still be between an eye-catching cooker hood that everyone can, or even should, see, or an unobtrusive powerhouse that makes all the fumes disappear without stepping into the spotlight itself. The latter category, called built-in groups, remain one of the favorite items. With Drop and Drop Slim, Franke pushes forward two toppers. Their motor is powerful (necessary to do what needs to be done) yet also quiet so they don't interfere with fun conversations. The combination of power and silence allows Drop and Drop Slim to "hang" up to 1.30 meters above the cooktop. An additional advantage of the Drop Slim, the motor with a limited installation size which allows installation in the ceiling. Drop and Drop Slim come in different lengths and are available in three finishes (white, stainless steel and black).

A fume hood does not always have to be visible. More and more, the consumer's choice goes to a downdraft system, whether or not integrated into the cooktop itself. "And both of these options are also available in our extensive range," Franke echoes. "Our Downdraft solution only appears when the user wants it. A simple push of a button is enough to bring out the Downdraft. When no longer in use, it sinks back down to the worktop level.
