Ever smarter products in the home

During Electrolux Home Products' annual dealer show in Alphen aan den Rijn, AEG presented its latest kitchen innovations to specialist dealers and partners. The in-house novelty fair has become a regular moment in the year when the brand makes its vision of design, technology and energy efficiency concrete. This year, the focus was clearly on one ambition: the kitchen as an intelligent partner in everyday life.

Right after the year-end holidays, an extra moment has been on the agenda for years. After all, a visit to AEG's dealer show is always worthwhile. Not only is it a good time to catch up with various people from the industry, but the atmosphere is convivial and the day is above all educational.

That AEG is popular in the industry is no longer a secret. The dealer show is well attended every year. For many people, a visit to the cooking studio and sitting down for lunch is the highlight of the day, since you get culinary surprises every year. Of course, a tour of the products is also very important and for some it is probably the moment to get acquainted with the innovations of AEG. Others have already seen some of them at the IFA or Küchenmeile.

Under the guidance of Marsha van der Laan-Vis, Consumer Marketing Manager at AEG, insight was gained into how artificial intelligence and smart functionalities are becoming an increasingly prominent part of product offerings. Not as a technical gimmick, but as practical support for better cooking results, less waste and greater convenience. Once again, Van der Laan-Vis was able to clearly outline the key USPs in a short amount of time, painting a clear picture of what AEG has to offer in 2026.

Fresh pizza in an instant

One of the most notable introductions is the PizzaExpert function within the new 7000 MealAssist oven line. In combination with a special cast-iron plate, a temperature of 340 °C is reached, enabling a professional-quality pizza to be prepared within about two and a half minutes. AEG already demonstrated this live during the Küchenmeile. During the dealer show, the function was deployed again in AEG's cooking studio. The application responds to common frustrations with home pizzas, such as a soggy bottom or uneven cooking. Through a digital assistant in the app, users are guided through preparing the dough and setting the correct timing, while the EXCite Touch TFT display provides step-by-step instructions. The technology behind PizzaExpert has been approved by the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, a renowned institute in the field of pizza art. With this, AEG underlines the professional ambition of this innovation.

Fast cooking

AEG frequently focuses on multifunctionality in the kitchen. So too with the new CombiQuick® oven OK8NW00MB; it combines the speed of a microwave oven with the even cooking of a hot air oven in a 60 centimeter built-in format. As a result, meals can be prepared up to forty percent faster, without compromising on taste or texture. The oven meets the growing need for integrated solutions in modern kitchens, where a separate microwave oven is increasingly giving way to a multifunctional built-in appliance. With a generous capacity of 72 liters, a black glass design and a suggested retail price of 1,599 euros, this model emphatically positions itself in the middle to upper segment. Even details such as a special popcorn function, which automatically selects the right settings for a standard bag of microwave popcorn, show how ease of use is central to AEG.

Doing the dishes quietly

AEG is also taking the next step in the field of dishwashers. The new range, which was already officially launched at IFA 2025 and will be rolled out more widely in Europe in early 2026, combines very low noise levels with high energy efficiency and minimal water consumption. The top models achieve an energy performance ten percent better than the limit for label class A, with a water consumption of only 8.4 liters per cycle (i.e. less than a bucket of water) and a noise level that can drop to 35 dB(A) in ExtraSilent mode. All possible thanks to technologies such as AquaSave, which activates spray arms separately. SatelliteClean® Pro, which effectively removes stubborn food residues with a double rotating spray arm, combines efficiency with cleaning power. Attention has also been paid to flexibility and design, including renewed EasyFlex baskets and XXL Max versions with extra interior space.

The refrigerator that gets to know you

In the refrigeration segment, AEG is introducing AI CoolAssist®, a system that analyzes usage patterns, such as door openings and temperature changes, over a 14-day period to then automatically optimize settings. This self-learning technology allows food to stay fresh longer and reduces energy consumption by up to ten percent. The feature is available in the 7000 NoFrost refrigerator-freezer with A energy label, among others.

The dealer show in Alphen aan den Rijn once again made clear that AEG wants to further strengthen its premium position by letting technology and design go hand in hand. In doing so, the brand outlines a future vision in which appliances increasingly function as silent, smart partners in everyday life.
