Anyone active in the furniture industry in the Netherlands and Belgium knows that HoutPro+ is the place to discover the latest news. Once every three years, ’s-Hertogenbosch becomes the center of the sector. Van Hoecke was there again this year, as a loyal exhibitor.
A trade fair that is organized every three years guarantees a wealth of news from every exhibitor. Van Hoecke has not been idle since the last edition. The company from Sint-Niklaas (Belgium) is now officially part of the large international Blum family and has launched several striking product innovations. The spotlight at HoutPro+ was on the groundbreaking REVEGO pocket system, the AVENTOS top lift system, and the brand-new AMPEROS AC.
Digitalization is the future, and that also applies to furniture fittings, Van Hoecke knows. With AMPEROS AC, Van Hoecke is offering a new product group from Blum. “Power supply in furniture drawers, and in an elegant way,” summarizes Dyonisa Van de Velde of Van Hoecke. “You have cables and devices everywhere, and that can sometimes be messy. With AMPEROS AC, we can stylishly conceal all of this in the drawers and bring electricity exactly where it is needed. Charging a smartphone in the nightstand drawer, a kitchen appliance on a pull-out tablet drawer, a wireless computer mouse that charges in the desk drawer... the possibilities are endless.”
The innovative REVEGO pocket system was launched last year. Thanks to REVEGO, a home office, kitchen area, or even an entire living space can be hidden away or revealed in an instant. The fronts open and close very easily, while the fixed pocket width and ready-to-use system ensure that installation is also simple. We also discovered something new with REVEGO, namely the add-on cabinet. “Perfect for an elegant coffee or tea bar,” Van de Velde outlines.
AVENTOS top also needs no introduction. Folding up, swiveling, lifting, and folding down... all movement types of the lift system are also available as a compact top version. The compact, sleek design makes AVENTOS top suitable for a wide range of wall cabinet types that also fit into any interior. “Functionality and aesthetics really go hand in hand,” emphasizes Van de Velde. “The fact that we offer maximum design freedom, various dimensions, and easy installation with a relatively small range of products further underlines the innovative character of the AVENTOS top family.”
Functionality and design also go hand in hand with Orgalux drawer dividers. Van Hoecke is also streamlining the Orgalux ordering process to make it even faster and easier. Nine packages are available, in standard sizes and each with finished sides for a perfect fit. Each package contains a cutlery tray and storage space for work cutlery, with expansion options for additional kitchen accessories. Van de Velde: “This allows you to order everything you need in one go to finish your kitchen to perfection, both practically and aesthetically.”
The Belgian family business Van Hoecke of Sint-Niklaas has been a partner for the furniture industry since 1967.
