No more mess on the worktop
Technology and everyday life are becoming more and more intertwined, including in the kitchen. Smart and integrated solutions are therefore in demand. With AMPEROS AC, Blum and Van Hoecke are tackling the proliferation of cables and appliances on the worktop. After all, the innovative system elegantly integrates power supply in drawers. Exactly where it is needed.

The principle is as simple as it is well thought out. AMPEROS AC brings electricity right into drawers. No more messy cords across the worktop, no more appliances left permanently on the worktop because they need to be charged. Thanks to the built-in socket in the drawer, you use the mixer, for example, directly from the drawer. In the bathroom, the same goes for using the shaver. After use, simply put everything away neatly. Charging tablets and smartphones? From the drawer. "Extremely practical and aesthetic," adds Karen Coomans of Van Hoecke. "This is because the cable guide is completely concealed under the drawer while the socket is fully integrated into it. So ideal for those who want to combine functionality with a sleek interior."
A major strength of AMPEROS AC, however, is its compatibility with Blum's existing solutions. "AMPEROS AC fits seamlessly with LEGRABOX and MOVENTO guides," Coomans confirms. "In addition, it is also compatible with the well-known technologies BLUMOTION, TIP-ON BLUMOTION and SERVO-DRIVE. This means concretely that AMPEROS AC is not limited to use in the kitchen but certainly also comes into its own perfectly in bathrooms, bedrooms and also home offices."

Equally important in the development of AMPEROS AC: its easy assembly. "A strong plus for interior designers and installers," Coomans adds. AMPEROS AC was designed with flexibility and multi-deployability in mind. Therefore, the system can be used in both new and existing drawers. Moreover, no technical prior knowledge is required for its installation. After all, the cable grommet snaps onto the guide rail without tools and only a recess in the drawer base is needed for the socket.

Van Hoecke and Blum are once again joining forces for what could well be a gamechanger for kitchen and interior design professionals. And they don't have to wait long for this innovation. After all, AMPEROS AC is already available this fall.
