Help consumers save euros with sustainable boiling water faucet

"Anyone who purchases a faucet from this brand is making a sustainable choice," says Herbert. "This is because a Quooker uses very little energy. That's because the reservoir of boiling water is so well insulated that only 10 watts are needed to keep the water above boiling point. By comparison, this is less energy than what the use of an average Internet modem is!"

Less water

"You can also save water with a Quooker. Because you never tap more than the desired amount of boiling water, not a drop is lost," he continued. "That's different with a kettle. You often boil much more water than necessary. Or you forget the water in your kettle, after which you have to bring it to a boil again later. A waste of energy!"
