Cooling, cooking, pairing

The premium built-in kitchen demands top quality in terms of design and technology. SKS focuses on a clear niche, namely integrated built-in appliances that combine professional performance with sophisticated design. A clear product range is at the center, clear for designers and kitchen studios and with a clear preference for all things refrigeration.

SKS, in full Signature Kitchen Suite and part of the LG Electronics group, was founded in 2017. In 2020, the manufacturer of high-end built-in appliances made its European debut in ... Milan. This year, SKS returns with its own stand at EuroCucina and with Feeding The Future, a concept around conscious food consumption, in its own showroom at Via Manzoni 47. SKS takes a closer look at the role of innovation within the entire food chain and invites visitors to consider how household technology and AI can support more conscious food consumption.

Cooling as a specialty

The SKS booth (Hall 4, Booth C31) will show visitors that SKS has a penchant for all things refrigeration. The common thread: maximum precision in temperature control, minimum waste and optimum product quality. The flagship in the range is undoubtedly the French Door 36” refrigerator with a total capacity of 486 liters. Its three-part structure, with the refrigerator at the top, a freezer drawer at the bottom and a convertible compartment in the center with adjustable temperatures for storing different types of ingredients, stands out. Designers get a panel-ready model with the French Door 36”, which means the unit can be fully integrated into the kitchen cabinetry, maintaining a sleek front appearance. Inside, glass and stainless steel provide a professional look and optimum hygiene. The True-Illumination LED lighting is subtly integrated into the shelves which ensures even light distribution without glare. Nice detail: the internal water dispenser is incorporated into the side wall so that the net storage capacity is maintained.

Precision in compact size

Kitchens where space is more limited require flexible solutions. SKS answers this demand with an undercounter model with two drawers, namely one refrigerated drawer and one fully convertible drawer. Six temperature settings are possible where the set temperature and the actual temperature in the drawer differ only 0.5 °C from each other. With this precision, SKS ensures energy efficiency and longer storage.

To discover in Milan

Wouter van den Boogaard of American Appliances, exclusive importer of SKS in the Netherlands, is on hand to invite every kitchen professional. He points out the technical precision of all the refrigeration appliances in the range and also picks up on the built-in wine cabinets. “These are available in column and undermount versions,” Van den Boogaard says. “Depending on the model, they have two or three temperature zones that can always be controlled independently of each other.” The bottles of wine are in the optimum conditions, the Wine Cave Technology™ ensures. In addition, all SKS appliances, including the refrigerators and freezers, are Wi-Fi ready. “They are also compatible with LG's ThinQ platform. Come discover the future of the premium kitchen segment at SKS.”
