IJsselstein/Dreieich, April 27, 2026. From April 20 to 26, Milan was once again the epicenter of the global design world and the meeting point for international design visionaries. For the MHK Group and MHK Netherlands, the EuroCucina in the context of the Salone del Mobile offered much more than just a product show: the format of the MHK EuroCucina 2026 Design Tour acts as a strategic impetus to sustainably strengthen the market position of the affiliated specialist dealers.
By identifying and estimating new trends early, MHK trading partners can more accurately anticipate their customers' needs in the local market and clearly differentiate themselves from the competition with forward-looking solutions.

A central building block of the MHK EuroCucina 2026 Design Tour was the direct dialogue with industry. In addition to visiting the exhibition halls, partners had the opportunity to visit the exhibitions of numerous MHK industry partners who presented their novelties during Design Week in Milan. This intensive exchange strengthened cooperation and enabled the dealers to experience and assess materials, technical innovations and forward-looking design approaches firsthand.
A special highlight was the „EuroCucina Design Night by Electrolux,” which took place on the evening of April 21, 2026. Against the impressive backdrop of Lake Maggiore at the Grand Hotel Dino, the event provided space for intensive exchange. From the aperitif at the AEG Innovation Truck to the joint dinner in the Margarita Garden, the focus was on the partnership between the MHK Group, trade partners and industry. In a relaxed atmosphere, the event offered insights into current developments, energy-efficient solutions and smart functions - and was the perfect opportunity for conversations about future developments and opportunities in the industry.

The theme of the trip was internationality: trade partners from Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium took the opportunity to exchange experiences across national borders. Together, trends were identified that go beyond classic kitchen design.
These include:

Volker Klodwig, CEO MHK Group: „For us, Milan is much more than just a stage for new products - it is the place where meetings become ideas and where inspiration provides perspectives for the future. The many impressions and the intensive exchange with our industry partners show: those who think together across borders and not only observe trends, but actively promote them, help shape the industry of tomorrow. We as the MHK Group see ourselves as pathfinders and momentum builders - and take away from these days in Milan not only valuable impulses, but also real motivation to ensure our trading partners sustainable market success and a strong position in international competition. “
Marc Asbeek Brusse, director MHK Netherlands: „For us, Milan is where we feel the synergies of our international group. The trends we discover here give us the assurance that together with our partners we can always offer local customers the best and most modern solutions.”
With the conclusion of the MHK EuroCucina 2026 Design Tour, the participants of the MHK Netherlands take with them a package of inspiration and strengthened partnerships to their home market. The insights gained are now being directly incorporated into their work and that of the MHK Group. Milan has demonstrated once again: those who respond early to trends and have a strong network behind them are excellently positioned to actively shape the future.
