Induction cooktop with built-in exhaust and still an XL cooking surface

More and more people are switching to cooking on induction with built-in extractor. Smart, because the induction cooktop uses about 20% less energy than other electric variants. Moreover, the latest induction cooktops literally and figuratively broaden your cooking skills. ETNA's new 70 and 80 cm wide models have a built-in, automatic extractor but still offer an XL cooking surface for large pans.

With the ETNA AKI671ZT (70 cm) and the AKI680ZT (80 cm), a large tepanyaki, grill, or fish pan is no problem. This is because the hobs have linkable octazones on the left side that allow you to create twice the cooking surface. Instead, the zones on the other side are round and have and are spaced far apart to give you maximum pan space. The keep warm function ensures that the hob remains at a constant temperature of 70°. With the pause function, you temporarily set all cooking zones to '0'.

The recessed grille for extraction is finished in Black Titanium, a luxury color variant of stainless steel. Operating the extraction unit is easy via the central slider control. If you choose the automatic mode, the extraction adjusts to the cooking intensity.

What is special about these cooktops is that they can be installed in many ways. They are suitable for external exhaust but also offer various options for recirculation. If you choose the latter, the carbon filters can be placed directly in the exhaust unit. For recirculation, a fine dust or plasma filter can also be chosen. The cooktop gives a signal when the filters are saturated. Super practical: the grease filter and any carbon filters are easy to take out from above when they need to be cleaned. Handy: the AKI671ZT is 70 cm wide but fits into a standard recess width of 56 cm, which is a great advantage if an existing cooktop needs to be replaced
