On Monday, May 16, DER KREIS and Mijn BAD organized an exclusive Dinner Show for its participants, suppliers and prospects. Approx. 500 visitors from all over the Netherlands traveled to studio 21 in Hilversum to celebrate this exclusive event. For the first time, DER KREIS and Mijn BAD were able to organize another major event. The worldwide pandemic made such an event impossible until recently, but finally it was back on. Under the motto It's time to relax and time to spice it up, DER KREIS Netherlands ushered in the evening.
The spectacular evening kicked off with a convivial gathering in the foyer where suppliers, participants and prospects met over snacks and drinks, honoring the long-standing tradition with the herring cart. The industry peers clearly felt like and needed the event: the mood was purely positive.
An exclusive DER RKEIS opening song opened the show night and set the tone. The rest of the evening featured plenty of entertainment including a performance by The Soul Sisters, Richie Brown & Roy van den Akker - known from LA the voices - and Bryan B. The show offered something for everyone: from Dutch hits to the music of Queen. After the Dinner Show, a 'Walking Dessert' took place where networking opportunities were again offered.
In between the festivities, Nathalie Bakker (Managing Director sales and marketing ) and Bart Opentij (Managing Director finance and purchasing) gave an impressive presentation looking back at what the past exceptional years had meant for the industry; certainly due to interference from the COVID-19 virus, the past few years have been a real challenge. And still we live in unprecedented times. The COVID-19 measures may be off the table; but the consequences - due in part to current world developments - are still disastrous. For many entrepreneurs, this means great demands on perseverance, flexibility and creativity. Yet it is important to focus together on the tools that can make a positive difference. Through mutual clear communication, drawing parallels with other industries towards consumers and the comprehensive services provided by DER KREIS and Mijn BAD, a demonstrable positive difference can be observed in practice.
