Island hood Skyline Edge Play wins Red Dot Product Design Award 2024

berbel's commitment, when it comes to quality and design, has been awarded once again. This time with the coveted Red Dot Product Design Award for the innovative island hood Skyline Edge Play.

Elegant design and functionality go hand in hand

The modern design of the island hood, combined with advanced technology, impressed the jury of the Red Dot Award. The Skyline Edge Play impresses with a slim, sleek housing that gives any kitchen an elegant and bright look. Thanks to the innovative gesture controls, the hood can be controlled without touching it. This means that fan levels, lighting and elevator settings can be easily adjusted while cooking without direct contact with the hood. Another highlight is the effect lighting, berbel Motion-Lights, which creates a fascinating atmosphere in the kitchen and offers a choice of up to 12 unique lighting effects for optimum adjustment to the desired mood or environment.

Flexible and user-friendly operation

All Skyline Edge Play functions, such as the elevator system, extraction and lighting, can be controlled via the berbel+ app, which allows users to store and manage up to 16 different combo settings.

For an individual look of the Skyline Edge Play island hood, different ceiling plates made of stainless steel or glass in different colors are available.
