Round shapes and 75-centimeter-wide cabinets as the highlight
During the Küchenmeile at the Gut Böckel estate, Keller Kitchens celebrated its 90th anniversary. The brand combined this special moment with a presentation of several innovative kitchen concepts. The festive evening attracted many visitors.
The atmosphere at Gut Böckel was lively but relaxed. For many retailers, a visit to the Küchenmeile is not only an introduction to new trends, but also a reunion of many acquaintances. Presumably almost all visitors felt the same way. After all, we saw many smiling faces. Keller may be 90 years old, but the presentation showed that the brand is young at heart.
Calm Flow was one of the undisputed highlights of the evening. This kitchen is distinguished by its exceptionally consistent construction: all the cabinets are 75 centimeters wide, something that makes the kitchen unique in itself. This choice not only creates a calm interplay of lines, but also makes the kitchen particularly visually balanced. The rounded shapes create a soft transition between the various components, with the subtle highlight being the rounded panels around the refrigerator. The chosen soft colors enhance the look. Calm Flow is a clear example of ‘soft minimalism’: understated, harmonious and with a strong focus on proportion and light. The design shows how minimalism and warmth can reinforce each other without becoming in contrast.
Retro Vibes brings a different kind of tranquility. One that is rooted in nostalgia. While the kitchen references the feel of the 1970s, it does so with a contemporary interpretation. The result is not a literal look back, but a translation of the feeling of then into the design language of today. It gives the kitchen a familiar, accessible and personal character - something consumers are sometimes also looking for in their kitchens. And all this without literally lapsing into retro. In doing so, Keller strikes a chord with consumers looking for warmth and recognition in their interiors.
With Natural Weave, Keller emphasizes its strength of many possibilities. The linen texture gives this kitchen a special and welcome look. It creates an understated form of luxury. The tonal tones make the kitchen look calm. Natural Weave is not necessarily a bold statement, but a kitchen that is different from the usual. It gives the kitchen, without exaggerating, a luxurious but chosen look. An approach that fits seamlessly into the current interior design trend we saw at last year's Salone del Mobile in Milan. Here much attention was paid to material experience
and softness.
With the presentation of Calm Flow, New Seventies and Natural Weave, Keller Kitchens demonstrated at Gut Böckel that ninety years of craftsmanship and innovation reinforce each other. Together, the aforementioned three concepts form a powerful statement about where the kitchen market is moving: toward designs in which tranquility, naturalness and sophistication prevail.
